While she is an angora goat I feel she can still be comparable to the alpaca. Angora goats, while they don't produce wool, they produce mohair and cashmere. Basically they are still a species used for their hair similar to how sheep and alpacas are used for wool. Though the mix-up is common both in real life and the show. Angora goats do look a little bit like sheep.

I haven't watched this anime yet, I wanted to get a review/summary to see if I'd actually watch it. Just when I saw the cover and heard the beginning of the video I thought deer guy (Louis, I think) and the wolf (Legoshi) were gay lovers, but it seems like that isn't what's going to happen and am now immensely disappointed.

I think the reason this show is good to me is because Lara Jill Miller is a Godly voice actress and her presence voicing Haru makes this show automatically more epic in my book.

Let’s be real here Haru is relatable to short people (to some extent) and Legosi is relatable to tall people (to some extent) and I can approve of this because I’m a short person and my best friend is tall.
The amount of Beastars vore on the internet is unreasonably small, given the predator/prey relationship themes, and that Louis having a vore kink is basically canon.

@@YouHadMeAtHalo It's described as a "carnivore fetish" in the manga, and it's arguably more about sexual attraction to predators who _could_ eat him combined with a separate obsession with his "cursed" leg, rather than a simple sexual desire to be eaten, but... wait for season 3 if you watch the anime and don't want spoilers.
It does, 4 are panels devoted to it while he's explaining "the process". The only thing they somewhat cut out is his rambling monologue about "the process" (though bits and pieces of it are still in) and several of the more extreme scenes were filtered in the black-background or skipped entirely.
Don't worry they add more love triangles and give up on others, then everything is somewhat in their rightful place except Haru for some reason attracts simps that kinda wanna kill her even without knowing the relationship she has with Legoshi only for that to also make it 100% more appealing to them to have her for themselves. Also the Lions and Louis relationship is hilarious.
The dino thing is actually kinda cool tho. It's deffo just some cool trivia, but the dinos are considered the precursors/deities they all pray to, while most of them don't believe in them, if i remember correctly. I could be wrong

as a furry myself, if you think that if you watch this amazing anime of beastars made by the CGI gods of studio orange will make you a furry... what the hell being a furry is a choice, you can have an interest in anthro creatures and not be a furry, like micky mouse. your only a furry if you say you are one. with that note, try beastars, your really missing out on some top tire stuff .p.
Beastars was my anime of the year in 2019, beating awaited [by me] shows like Mob Psycho 100, Jojo's, Vinland Saga, the first half of Bojack Horseman's 6th season and even Infinity Train among many others. I can't wait to have some time for the next season.
Beastars uses the animals and their ideology as a representation of what kind of story they're telling. But just ignoring it and labeling anyone who enjoys the story as a "furry" feels like you're just discrediting the creative choice.😒

I think the reason this show is good to me is because Lara Jill Miller is a Godly voice actress and her presence voicing Haru makes this show automatically more epic in my book.

It does, 4 are panels devoted to it while he's explaining "the process". The only thing they somewhat cut out is his rambling monologue about "the process" (though bits and pieces of it are still in) and several of the more extreme scenes were filtered in the black-background or skipped entirely.

Don't worry they add more love triangles and give up on others, then everything is somewhat in their rightful place except Haru for some reason attracts simps that kinda wanna kill her even without knowing the relationship she has with Legoshi only for that to also make it 100% more appealing to them to have her for themselves. Also the Lions and Louis relationship is hilarious.
The dino thing is actually kinda cool tho. It's deffo just some cool trivia, but the dinos are considered the precursors/deities they all pray to, while most of them don't believe in them, if i remember correctly. I could be wrong

Beastars was my anime of the year in 2019, beating awaited [by me] shows like Mob Psycho 100, Jojo's, Vinland Saga, the first half of Bojack Horseman's 6th season and even Infinity Train among many others. I can't wait to have some time for the next season.
I love this show and no I'm not a furry I just like good characters and stories.

Honestly categorizing a story told through animals as 'furry content' is super annoying.
Beastars uses the animals and their ideology as a representation of what kind of story they're telling. But just ignoring it and labeling anyone who enjoys the story as a "furry" feels like you're just discrediting the creative choice.😒
