Is that 440 or a 400Ex ?? An way they have some Red high temp valve seals that hold up a lot longer through BPR racing.

It's bored to 86mm, so it's a 402. JE piston, 12:1 compression, stage 2 hotcams, 3-angle valve job, Hotrods connecting rod, etc....

The high temp red valve seals hold up real good I have a set of them on my stroker 465ex . I figured I'd let you know . you and your dad done a great job on building 400EX it looks good 👍.

What kind of filter do you have on it? How did it get so much dirt in it that it Damaged the cylinder?

It had a UNI, but it had a tear in it.

This one is the Element E50. The mount is an Element carbon fiber that they no longer make.

little late but I was wanting a opinion question the plastics I have yellow I’m goin the maier route I’m gonna be replacing the front with the maier race ones have a black yellow theme or spend the extra $300 and go all blue?

Check out some of our videos showcasing the blue. I really like the look of it. That said, a lot of people who see it aren't as enthusiastic about the blue. My subjective opinion is the blue is worth the extra expense, but again it's not for everybody. We found these plastics as factory seconds. They were new and sealed in plastic. Never did find the flaw, but that made it so we got a really good deal on them. Also look up our Instagram to see some pictures of the blue to maybe help you decide.

Yeah, it seems like the blue got discontinued. The silver or the black will work just fine. The silver will probably be less prone to fade than the black and show less scratches.
I treated these plastics with a product called HALO, from Gtechniq. It's a flexible ceramic coating that will help protect against UV fading and will help a little bit with scuffs.
