Judging by some storyboards, it looks as though the Day of Unity was always going to be the series finale (Amity still has the Titan Key in a storyboard for Clouds on the Horizon). Hence, the witches were likely not meant to visit the human realm until the Day of Unity was pushed forward to the end of Season 2, which also coincided with Dana deciding to integrate the Collector in the show and resulted in the circumstances we have today.
Seemed like only yesterday, Amity wasn’t too fond of Luz and nearly had her dissected. Then they eventually went from becoming friends to the amazing couple we know and love. *sniff* They grow up so fast.

I love lumity so much. They are my absolute favorite Disney couple. Watching their relationship blossom from rivals, to friends, to lovers, helped me so much with finding happiness when covid hit.

They're friendship and later relationship sure was interesting. This was pretty much one if the reasons I became a TOH fan as I heard a lot about this ship which fascinated me. And while the show maybe over I'm happy the show ended with them still together and loving each other. And it's all thx to Dana Terrance and her team.

I feel so nostalgic watching Luz and Amity from season 1, like I was just transported back to 2020 when the main hype surrounding the show was the Grom episode. I still remember when the first episodes of season 2 came out, and the fandom (including me) was losing their shit since there were signs Luz was starting to like Amity back.
She even admited to amity that she does stuoid things around amity too. It was evident around season 1, especially in the adventure of the elements episode. According to Dana, she was oblivious to some things that are in front of her due to her being heavily focused on going home and heping eda with her curse. Luz didn't realize she had feelings for Amity until season 2 when Amity yells "Stay Away from my Luz".
Aside from the Grom dance, Amity's tomato face blush (which still continued through the whole series) and her new purple hair look, the part where Amity kiss Luz in the cheek, that is Lumity really shine. 16:02

The show deserved to be much longer! The first season could focus on Amity becoming a better person. In the second season, Amity finally makes amends with Willow and the others; and then she began to show signs of affection towards Luz. So by the third season, Luz and Amity are officially a couple. I just feel that because the series was cut short, their relationship was pushed. And it didn’t have time to truly blossom. I will say that they’re one of my favorite pairings.
