Aww, you are so blessed! I have 2 boys and have to admit that after my second boy, when I realized I'd never have a little girl, I was sad. I still get a little pang of sadness sometimes, but then my boys blow my mind with their loving kindness and absolute sweetness, that I am OK with having 2 boys who are awesome sons and brothers. Last night, I told my 5yo "I love you, baby kid." and he responded "I love you, too, adult parent." It doesn't get much better than that.
I feel the same way. I'll never have a girl, and I really wanted my second pregnancy to be a girl, but I have two boys. I have two sisters in law that are having girls and I do feel a pang of jealousy that I had my tubes tied, but I would never trade my boys for anything. my oldest is 5 and my youngest just turned 1. :)
Blair Broughton I understand completely. But we have a couple of mama's boys and that is such a beautiful thing. I look at my friends with their frilly little girls and they are so cute, but I look at my boys, with skinned knees and dirt on their faces and their smiles are every bit as sweet. I think we experience the same amount of joy, not matter if we have boys or girls, we all love our sweet babies.
You talking about raising a girl to be confident and creative and all... made me so happy! I totally get the explanation and it's exactly what I do with my stepdaughter. Congratulations!
I can already tell that you'll be a wonderful mother. I love how you said you wanted her to be confident and stuff. Your daughter will be incredibly lucky to have you both as parents❤
My daughter is 13 months old now and it's great to watch your channel to relive some of the pregnancy ups and downs. I was super sick during my 1st and part of my 2nd trimesters as well, but it's all worth it in the end to have your baby girl. Hope you continue to do well!
Love your preggy vlogs! I’ve watched them 3 years ago already but now I’m pregnant with my first baby and I rewatch the whole playlist. It’s such a pleasure to share with you almost the same emotions ❤️
For the acne - I'm nursing so my hormones are all over the place (oddly, my skin was SO GOOD when I was pregnant) and I'm breaking out like crazy. I have found that Lush's Mask of Magnaminty has really helped when I put it on while the blemishes are small. If I need to I use Grease Lightning or tea tree oil, but it's pretty drying. Congrats!
My BF and I were both disappointed when we found out we were having a GIRL instead of a boy. But once she was born, it didn't even matter. In fact, my boyfriend and I fell in LOVE with our baby girl at first sight 😍❤️👶🏼 We are so so blessed and happy with her 🙌🏼 Congrats on your baby girl Jenn 😊 She's going to be a mini you! 😍
I have really been enjoying these preggy vlogs - my husband and I are trying for children and it makes me so happy to see you so happy and glowing in your pregnancy! Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Congrats on having a baby girl!!! Shes gonna have the best mommy ever!! I've been watching these vlogs since you found out you were pregnant and I'm so excited and having so much fun go along this journey with you
These pretty vlogs make me so happy seriously because it's great seeing you so happy and excited. And it's so interesting to know these little pregnancy details too. Love
I have 5 kids. Two boys....12 and 10 then I had 2 girls.....8 and 6 then when I was getting my 2 year degree I got pregnant with my 5th who is a sweet little boy!! Kids are such a blessing!! I sometimes want to have another baby to have another girl so the kids are even but I then feel content with all of my kids. What a journey and glitter adventure you and your hubby are about to embark on!! Yay!!
My mom mentioned that when she was pregnant with me (girl), she ate a lot of fruit. She loved tropical fruit/fruit that would normally grow in warm areas like pineapples, mangoes, watermelons, etc. She also craved chocolate so i guess it's a good balance.
It's so exciting to be able to see this videos of your pregnancy, and basically go down this amazing pregnancy path with you! These videos make me so excited and I look forward to seeing the rest of this pregnancy journey with you until the baby pops out ahaha! Then we get to see baby v-logs woohoo!
girls are amazing. u can dress them up etc. after 5 yrs i got a boy so yes now i got a pair n the elder sister loves the baby brother so much. u take care. enjoy ur pregnancy
Can pregnant women use aloe vera gel? I use that for acne sometimes, when I can find the plant. I don't use the gel they have in normal stores because it has other things in the ingredients that doesn't like. If I ever find some that just has aloe vera in its ingredients list I would get that. The only problem with it is that it either stains or bleaches fabric. (I'm not sure which) So wear a shirt you don't care about when using it.
Oh my gosh so exciting! I'm 21 weeks right now and I can relate to everything! Also having a little girl, bacne... ugh, feeling full sooner, baby kicking so much! So glad all this craziness right now isn't just me.
Oh darling!!! I'm so happy for you!! I have 2 children, both well into elementary school and i had a daughter first before I had my son:) I was craving so much sweets and just eating everything well balanced with my daughter. My son? Being Korean, I ate SO much fresh kimchi and my mom made a TON of kimchi pancakes and I HAD to have milk as my drink!! I'm done with kids, but I miss feeling all the kicks and movements!! Enjoy every moment of pregnancy! Oh and I hope Ben got you a Body Pillow to help your back and tummy!! Love you Jen!! From a another Mother to you!! 😘😘😘😘
i love how you went "She's gonna have so much makeup" when you found out eeeeeekkkk. I've been watching you since the on the floor with the fridge in the background days and it's sooo coool seeing you guys expanding the family.
I just found out that I'm pregnant with two twin boys I already have one little girl so I totally get why you wanted a girl they are amazing! But little boys are pretty cool to love your channel.
Change your clothes washing soap an be careful with fabric softeners an sheets. It looks like an allergic reaction. So change it use an non scented everything washing wise including your sheet an towels etc
Do you ever get scared of the actual giving birth process? Especially now you're pregnant? I'm really scared of the thought of giving birth and one day I would like to have children but i'm worried about freaking out when i get pregnant :/ Was just wondering if you ever got scared? :)
I was the same, to the point where I wanted children more than anything but told my husband I couldn't. Well I did and honestly pregnancy was wayyyy harder than birth. I even had a 30 hour labor. I went though 20 of those Without an epidural, and it didn't even work on one side or at the end. I'm saying all this because despite that, It's much more doable than you think.
slh8844 Thank you for sharing your experience! It's good to hear from someone who felt the same before as I do now. It's good to hear that it is doable even when it scares you and I hope that one day I can have a child as well :)
Totally with you on the back of the belly button thing (esp. having always had a strong "innie" pre-pregnancy). Funny thing is, I'm 9 months postpartum and it's still like that! I thought the gender reveal was adorable (Great dress, btw). We chose not to find out, which was its own awesome reveal. Totally unconcerned with gender outcome, though I do want a girl someday too! (We had a boy first time round) Unsolicited Advice for the 2nd/3rd Tri: Patience, and try not to set strong expectations. It's so much easier, better, calmer to just go with the flow, even if that means lots of sleeping, abandoned hobbies, etc.
Hey Jen. Congrats on your pregnancy! I got to the part about your back & chest acne and am wondering if you've tried any of the charcoal soaps. I see that some of them also have rosehips which is supposed to be really good for your skin and also jojoba oil which is also good since I read that charcoal soaps tend to be quite drying..?
Im kind of curious! Are you able to wear regular leggings during your pregnancy since they're stretchy? Or like...skirts? My mom told me she always wore dresses so she wouldn't have to spend a lot on maternity clothes.
+Audrey Walter Regular leggings felt restricting on my growing uterus pretty early on, during first trimester. I bought 1 maternity yoga legging and 1 cotton pair (also maternity jeans/shorts/skirts) and they are all I wear for bottoms! You might even grow out of your smaller maternity stuff too which is happening to me now. Just an honest update!
Haahaahaa I was the same way!! Was always hungry and full at the same time!! Could not eat! Happy the baby's moving around!! Don't worry about kick counting!
I made no secret of the fact that I wanted a girl so I was thrilled to find out that's what we were having. I'm very girly so loved the idea of a girl and was actually scared to have a boy. 8 years on and she's such a tomboy, not interested in girly things at all really - but she's so lovely and feisty and funny I wouldn't change her even if I do want a little shopping buddy!
I'm currently expecting too and don't know the gender yet but hearing all your 2nd trimester symptoms, it's very very similar with mine! Hopefully mines a girl too!
So happy to hear that u r pregnant Jenny!big congrats !u look totally fine!my family are all petite women n having no problems at all to have baby!just relax n enjoy!i had almost the same cravings as u do:fruits,salads...n gained around 23pds for the first baby girl!n she came out 7.2pds n 21inches long!so healthy!God bless u Jenny!🎉🎉
Wow! You still don't even look pregnant to me. Lucky girl! Looks like you won't be having any problems with stretch marks, at least on your belly. You look pretty no matter what. Hugs, Tracy
Is it just me who likes to go all the way to the end of the video just to see the baby bump? Then go back and watch the video? lol I wanna see the baby bump first always! Lol
Having two boys is an experience. Drew just turned 9, Russell is 1 today. We lost a daughter in 2014 in pregnancy. That was really rough on me. Anyway. Lots of love from us in Texas. I'll message you privately because I'd love to send you a little something for her.
I hate perfume, lotion, fragrance, MAKEUP during my pregnancy.. Are you sensitive to fragrant things too? Enjoy your pregnancy. Feeling the baby kick - best feeling in the world!
I was exactly the same way about having a baby girl. I was over the moon when I found out I was getting a baby girl! :) AND our baby girls are super close in age. My daughter Kamila was born September 02/2016! And I'm pretty sure ur daughter was born around the same time. I think! Haha anyway congrats!! Isn't it amazing ? :)
I am so excited for u!! I've been watching you for a few years now. I told my husband u were preg go and he was like wow congrats to Jen lol. We feel like we know u.
Lovely update, how exciting that you're getting a little girl :) I have to say though... If you think you've been tired during the pregnancy... You have no idea how tired you will be in a few months -_-
omg i'm 21 weeks too and i'm having a girl too! when your baby is going to born? i'm so excited for you and i'm going to watch all of your preggy vlogs!
During my pregnancy with my daughter, I always craved fresh fruit. It was almost the only thing I could keep down because I had morning sickness my entire pregnancy.
so brave, so important, so cool! I love you in everyway ( emotional, professional , whatever ) I cheer you up for being already this beautiful brave mother. Pride from Korea! Strong and smart ! so beautiful Jenn :D thanks for sharing ❤️
That's the size of my stomach after eating a full meal 😪 HAHAHAHA time to work out. But so Glad you're doing great!!!! And you still look awesome 😘 really excited and anticipating the baby :))
wow she has samll bunp, and I always wonder that if we can wear heavy eye makeup like that when pregancy and anyone can tell me what brand we can use when we are pregnant?
I had always wanted a boy before I actually got pregnant. I grew up as the only girl child in my family and have mostly guy friends so I was more comfortable with the idea of having a boy. Miss Marble he's certainly something else. I hit the jackpot with my kids. I think most parents would say that tho lol
Blair Broughton I understand completely. But we have a couple of mama's boys and that is such a beautiful thing. For the acne on your chest and back, try the Mask of Magnaminty from Lush. It's natural and really worked for me!
+Sakina ~ aforestofbooks I also recommend using LUSH aqua mirabilis as body scrub :P
For the acne - I'm nursing so my hormones are all over the place (oddly, my skin was SO GOOD when I was pregnant) and I'm breaking out like crazy. My mom mentioned that when she was pregnant with me (girl), she ate a lot of fruit. She loved tropical fruit/fruit that would normally grow in warm areas like pineapples, mangoes, watermelons, etc. She also craved chocolate so i guess it's a good balance.
Chocolate comes from the cacao plant which is a tropical fruit.

For the acne try getting a garlic clover. Cut it in half and get some of the juices and place it on top of the acne.
EE! So happy for you!

That was cool that you learned the gender at the same time as everyone else! Must have been hard to wait that long haha. Congrats!!
Congratulations! You sound so excited! I'm sure you are going to be a great mom!
I'm so excited! Can't wait to hear the beautiful name you pick!!!
Just realized we were pregnant at the same time both times! I was ahead last time and now i’m behind this time and you’re ahead :)

Congrats !!! I almost teared up on your reaction, is just too touching!
You're baby bump is just the cutest thing EVER!!
You can try a tea tree oil cleanser or tea tree oil on your back if it's safe to use while you're pregnant :)
What helped me get rid of bacne was to use my clarisonic with the body brush attachment
Im so happy for you!! I cant wait to see the baby girl. I'm super super excited!
So happy for you! I am 26 weeks and expecting a baby boy :)
The getting winded thing is so awful sometimes!! Stairs were the worst for me! You look gorgeous momma! 🙌

Hi Jen! Loved to video, I'm so thrilled for you to have a baby girl
What kind of nail polish are you wearing? Because i heard some nail polishes are not safe for pregnancy.
Awwww you're having a little girl?! That's so greeeeeaaat! Not that boys are not great too 🙈 can't wait to see your little girl! 😍😍
I hate perfume, lotion, fragrance, MAKEUP during my pregnancy.. Are you sensitive to fragrant things too? Enjoy your pregnancy. Feeling the baby kick - best feeling in the world!

OH my goodness the moment you saw the piece of cake got me all choked up! So sweet.
Just remember a active unborn baby is a Healthy baby, first time commenting love your videos!
the thumbnail had me searching for the labor vlog like where did u get that
wow she has samll bunp, and I always wonder that if we can wear heavy eye makeup like that when pregancy and anyone can tell me what brand we can use when we are pregnant?
Lyn loong I never heard about makeup being unsafe during pregnancy.
Have you tried Apple Cider Vinegar for acne breakouts? I heard that it works....
I had always wanted a boy before I actually got pregnant. I grew up as the only girl child in my family and have mostly guy friends so I was more comfortable with the idea of having a boy. I was always worried that I would be disappointed if I had a girl, but I was actually quite the opposite when I found out! It doesn't matter what gender you want your baby to be...
