"And I've got recon on the right, with the, uh... recon infantry..." Your reluctance to attempt pronouncing Polish aside (heh), this was fun to watch- a good showcase of close armor support!
Not having AT on his flanks hidden in the hedgerows cost him dearly. The PanzerJagers were enough early on, but he definitely needed something more toward the end of A beginning of B. well played, as always, Vulcan.
At first I didn't like 1st Pancerna, but the more I played it the more I started to like it to the point that after switching to the French division I started to miss recon Stuarts and Cromwell VIs. I think the Polish Division can be a lot of fun if you are into tank gameplay.
nice to see another player! tanks are quite hard to use, in this game in particular they require alot of micro, as AT can one shot them. the bets tips i have for them are: keep infantry (and recon) around them to watch for enemy ambushes, infantry AT is very potent, so keep away from hedge-rows/forests/towns (unless you know the line of sites and where the enemy units are). against infantry, tanks are best kept at range like in this video, to just mow down the troops but always keep at 250m+ as this is max infantry AT weapon range. Tank v tank is very different, have to keep in mind what your AT values are and their armour. (remember AT value goes up by 1 every 100m closer unless a HEAT round) if you want to know where to use tanks, then i'd say mid range engagements where you need fire support. remember if you use a tank it forces the other player to buy AT which (usually) can't engage infantry.sorry to bombard you with a wall of text, but i hope this helps your future battles =)
Hi Vulcan, just want to thank you for those high quality uploads. Here in Switzerland we got a weather heat wave at the moment (El Niño /La Niña year). And I'm Sitting here with my Husky and Samojede Sled dog. It's too warm outside, even though I got like 15 Are of land and trees,. I can't Work or go to the pool since I got a cold for the last two weeks ;) So I really appreciate your work and enjoy it quite a lot! :)
i must say i've watched quite a few of your videos, and i must applaude on your pronouciation of the non-english names : maps, units, weapons. At least for the french ones which are the ones I'm most qualified to judge. For the rest, great work, keep the content going you're doing great.
The tank commander name in 10:29. ;_; My mind is in the gutter. Also, whenever I bulid my decks I never use commander infantry, just commander support or tank card, and that's only in case whenever this unit is more cost effectiv. Yes, my units are weaker, yes, they can surrender, but I'm trying to never let that happend and use full range of every unit I could, and thanks to more normal infantry card I have quantity advantage, sometimes 3 to 1. (Also 24/7 heavy mortar/artillery fire does wonders to prevent enemy infantry from advancing to surrender my units.) But it's my play style, so I understand that it's not for everyone. In regards of AT guns veterancy well, I use them only to stun things, if they kill cool, if not, oh well... Enemy wants AT Guns dead whatever the cost anyway. Whenever some heavy tank needs to be put down I use Infantry and planes to do it, in rare cases tanks from 2-3 different positions. The only shame is that you can't fire at possition with a Bazooka or a Panzerfaust.
I really think there should be tanks and AT guns that can fire up to 1400m just to have some more variaty. like the flak 36 and pak 43 obviously, maybe give americans the 76mm AT gun? or how about a Jackson tank hunter. That would be awesome to see. This game could go so much furthur than 1944 normandy... like russia pacific afrika.... and so much more

Vulcan-Great example of the old Polish smash and grab! Appreciate you pumping out the content know you are having computer issues .
I would like to say, you convinced me to buy this game Vulcan. Loving it since then, though ultimately my weakness is utilizing tanks effectively.

Gotta love the RNG when a 2 star sherman misses its first shot but the unvetted StuG hits its first shot on two tank kills in a row.
I don't understand how Vulcan remained so calm, I would be furious :D
He's British. He will only be mildly annoyed.
Thats why I love the British :p
that is more of an english thing. scots are much more temperamental.

Maybe the Steel Division series, but I'm not sure "Steel Division: Normandy '44" is going to stray too far from Normandy in 1944.
