For example, the opening of the last Grammys. Obviously everyone preforming on stage was lip syncing. If you really thing about it, how would they be able to do the tango, jump and run around, and sing without being out of breath? There are many reasons artists lip sync, not just so that they can sound better.

I believe some artists end up lipsyncing because the routine of shows is very hard. They are pushed into doing shows days in a roll when touring, while dancing and barely sleeping sometimes. But of course, some artists just do it 'cause they can't actually sing well

You should change your opinion about lipsyncing. Lip syncing is perfectly normal, doctors encourage performers to do so to avoid vocal damage.
I think if you see a live show with them dancing and moving around a lot, you should expect some lip sync. Unless they running around with iron lungs lol. None of these were really bad. Except Selena but she always lip syncs.

Singing over a loud, full band on stage is really, really hard. Most of us are not blessed with perfect pitch and have to 'hear' our way around. I'd bet that many of these performers did not have a good monitor mix of their own vocals. Without perfect pitch this is a killer.

Lipsyncing isn't bad. It's good. The music will sound better for the audience and make it easier on the singer. No one goes to a concert for the music, they go to see the singer or else they would just listen to the track at home. Lipsyncing is a win win for everyone.
But they expect the singer to sing along to SOME of it.
In the Justin beiber clip he literally says one second afterwards that they are using live auto tune on his voice and that's why he sounds bad. I don't like the guy I feel like I should just point that out.

Fifth Harmony always used a backtrack, so the girls weren’t lip syncing, they just sang along to the backtrack. All five of them are great vocalists, watch their stripped down performances or their solo stuff and you’ll see.
I hope everybody knows Sia was sick that day. In the interview after she performed she admitted that she cried in the dressing room before cause she wanted to give everybody a good show but she couldn’t. I’m really proud of her that she still went on stage and didn’t lip sync ❤️

As a classical singer, I struggled a lot when I began singing on stage. Mainly because I focused so much on the fear of failing that I was too afraid to even try to control my voice and fucked up. People like the ones who make this video are the problem. Your voice is YOU. It is reliant on so many things, please don't shame these people (unless it's lipsynching)
Yeah I can’t get behind people who lipsync. Our voices are powerful instruments. Singing can be exhausting and is nerve wracking, because it’s so raw and exposed. You’re right. It’s us. I’ve messed up before and it’s terrifying. No one’s perfect all the time. Even the best singers and performers can make mistakes because we’re human.
This video is just for fun. Nobody is really shaming them. We know it’s really hard to sing. What I personally don’t like is when artist are not even trying to sing live and just lipsync. Because you can’t get better if don’t practice singing live. Like KPOP idols.

That's not possible, it wasn't in a key center. Active plugins like that always force the voice into some type of key center, he was hitting quarter tones, not semi tones. It sounded live, he might just not have been able to hear himself well or he can't control his intonation. It's not bad if he can't sing, it's not a respectable skill anyway.

No singer can be perfect 100% of the time, especially when you add in all the factors that go into a live performance (monitoring failures, singing while dancing, etc). It takes a real choad to collect a bunch of artists' slip ups and post them as "worst performances." Most of the isolated vocal tracks here don't even sound that bad- if you have any knowledge on the matter you would know that most of these examples would sound fine to the audience in a live setting. And if you like pop music and are mad that an artist lip syncs then I don't know what to say for you
