Don't know if your still replying to this video but I went and sanded my front lip and rear diffuser down with 400 grit sandpaper. I will eventually be putting on the adhesive followed by the primer immediately but from the video it seems like you have to sand it down again after. Problem sandpaper was in limited supply where I went so all I have is the 400 grit and 1000 grit. Should I use another few pieces of 400 grit after or will the 1000grit do the trick?
Hey just saw your comment, i wouldnt sand anything right after adhesion promoter. it will completely ruin everything (learned that the hard way). i'd suggest applying your adhesion promoter, letting it dry, then applying your primer coats. Then sand it down with a 1000 after you're done all your primer coats then apply base coats. then on your last base coat sand one last time with 1000 then apply your clear. hope that helps!
Can you explain what did you do after the second coat of the flat black primer? Did you wet sand it? And what did you do after the wet sanding? Thanks bro
Of course! So after the second coat of primer I let it dry for 20 mins then I came back to sand it down. Did not wet sand just regular sanding. Wet sanding is usually done after the clear coat is applied which can be found on the next video after this one on my channel.
