The best thing about Resleri is that the Producer is listening and getting QoL changes done in the first year and not just in 3-4 years time or waiting for when it's expected to discontinue just to try to desperately revive it late on in its life.
Seriously, I'm surprised at the amount of negativity this game recieves. Resleriana is quite solid compared to many other gacha games released around the same time.
Couldnt agree more. I actually started playing this game with almost no prior atelier series experience and still stayed for the battle/synthesize systems.
I'm playing the game on Steam deck, it's quite charming. It's a lot of fun seeing characters from past games in this new improved 3D artstyle. Ngl, the animations looks a lot better than most atelier consol games (that's just my opinion though). Hope the next consol Atelier game gets as much polish as this game.
I completely agree!! As a huge fan of the series, this feels like a level up in so many ways. Especially on Steam Deck, it looks and runs amazingly. It still has a lot of charm. I want a new console Atelier like the rest of the fanbase, but two things can (hopefully) exist at once!!
Lol that’s fair. We often get burned with a lot of gacha games. It’s awful. BUT if you don’t spend excessively and just enjoy it for what it is, I don’t see the harm. I really can’t imagine them ending this before the main story ends. Apparently it’s not doing badly revenue-wise, and the devs seem very active
But still this game is one of the best from japan developer game. The rate gacha is not really bad but chinese dev make mess up and set new standard in gacha game. Yes some still need improve in this game but still this one of the best. Unlike bandai where they mobile game is worst than this
@@zoozbuh Glad to get one more support from you. Most of people is compare this game with chinese anime game like hoyoverse. Take example blue archive the game develop by korean and get many fans. So the stigma about chinese developer game mobile is best not 100% correct.
Not so far, but as in many Atelier games due to so many female characters, there are a lot of “strong friendships” verging on queerbaiting. I honestly think Gust is pretty respectful and wholesome about it though. Go play Blue Reflection 2 if you want ACTUAL yuri that made me tear up 🥲😆 or the “Nights of Azure” series is 100% yuri and doesn’t even try to hide it lol
I don't know what you are talking about, the gem income way too low, played the first 2 weeks. Dropped during sophie banner release. Basically saved all f2p gems for nothing cause it was basically half a spark. There's a reason why this game is dying on revenue charts.
You expected to have enough free gems to spark in the first two weeks? In all the time I’ve been playing, there have been several occasions where the game has gifted us a random 3000gems + around 1500 any time there is a new event or quests/missions (not always, but many of them overlap). I know the daily quest gems are barely anything, but you can also get lucky with the adverts and get 300 gems (SUPER rare but it has happened twice for me last month). ALSO the “syntheprize” campaign rewards players with 3k gems for synthesising a lot + there was a community creation campaign and tower quests. So they are trying to give us something in exchange for engaging with the game at least. Yes the game is stingy compared to some non-Japanese gachas i guess, but seems like you’re expecting WAY too much imo. It’s a slow burn and grind. If you’ve been playing since the start, you should have had enough spark medals quite a while ago. Even if not, the tickets are good value (1500gems) and come with every new banner. So if you don’t care about sparking, there’s that.
@@zoozbuh Uh yes? Im literally playing a game that just came out that i have a spark without paying anything. Expect EOS soon and dont even bother posting in gachagaming again. I don't know why you even considering 300 gem ads if you even say it's SUPER rare. Of course I care about sparking, these rates are terrible.
@@ayylmao633You don't need to pull on every banner and you only need specific meta units for ex-content like the tower. Everything else, if you've played since day one, you should at least be able to build a party good enough for the story quests. Also lodestar gem pay outs I think is adequately fair if you're actually playing the game. Wanting multiple early sparks is unrealistic and Spark rates are pretty low and every character can be sparked permanently once added so there's less FOMO attached. As for the Memoria, the Devs are working on making them more accessible. The Producer is listening and actually cares to respond to players instead of leaving us all hanging.
LOL well since Crestoria died I needed at least one in my life :'))) Seriously though, even though you don't need to spend at all for this one, I kinda get it :'D The FOMO can be too much...
Hard disagree. There is no such thing as a f2P friendly gacha game, otherwise it wouldn't survive even a month. The whole game is made for the sole purpose of making you spend money on characters and faster progression in a predatory manner. Also the story is not really free, because you still need stamina to grind for your team to progress. It's a cheap standard gacha game with an atelier skin slapped on it (and some nice fanservice to attract people) that gets boring after a few days. As a long time atelier fan it is just sad to see this being a new mainline game...
F2P friendly gacha game? The best example would be Azur Lane, the gacha doesn't use premium currency and you eventually end getting all the ships in that game. The only thing you would spend money are the skins, but those don't affect gameplay at all.
@@luker2999 Tbh Azur Lane is an anomaly, surviving 7 years so far with that monetization is honestly a miracle for Gacha standards. Resleriana monetization is classic JP gacha imo, so it can be quite rough for players used to CN and KR gachas.
Maybe it’s just because I haven’t played many gacha games and I’m not prone to spending or obsessed with needing certain characters, but I don’t see how it’s THAT predatory. Yes you need to grind levels to progress with the story, but stamina has been super plentiful and you don’t get stamina by spending money anyway. The ONLY thing you really get by spending money is 3* characters, which are NOT needed to progress with the story (at least until chapter 8). Technically it’s possible. And the fact is you WILL incidentally get some 3* characters along the way at some point to help you. No one’s luck is THAT bad if you’ve been playing for months. A completely F2P-friendly gacha game wouldn’t make sense because they have to make money SOMEHOW to fund development. I don’t agree this is just a totally samey gacha game with an atelier label slapped on- the synthesis mechanic is vital to getting better gear and increasing damage. The item-gathering, story, music, atmosphere feels VERY Atelier, so you can’t just ignore all of that. It feels like an albeit simplified, VERY grindy atelier game to me
@@KusanagixYeah I think it just depends on what you’re used to. I’ve only really played JP gacha games seriously, and VERY few of them… so for me this doesn’t feel that bad. Yes it’s very grindy and you can’t get super OP without 3* characters. But I think people expect way too much. For a JPN gacha game, this is not that bad at all. We actually get a lot of freebies and stamina is not really connected to real money that much. Apart from those paid gem packs (which aren’t worth getting anyway), they don’t block stamina behind a paywall. The paywall is just for 3* characters if you don’t get ANY in your free pulls
