Probably the honest answer is that babies are probably not the easiest to "shoot" and there isn't much you can do with them. Why in another show I watch, The Walking Dead, there isn't a lot of baby Judith in that show either (lets hope they didn't sell him for Emma's wedding xD)

However, they could just write something about it like : "I dropped Neal at the daycare this morning, I have all the time in the world to deal with the wedding !" or "I will pick Neal, stay with them" or "Thank you Emma to take care of your brother tonight". Right now, he is just missing ^^
