That was great Jason - and I like that you not only encourage a youngster, but lead him to other crossings - made his day as well. Stay warm my friend, and a happy Thanksgiving weekend to you and your family.
Another good one, Jason. Very courteous of you to show a fellow railfan to the good observation spots! Had to cancel our vacation just east of the Soo in Ontario because of snow from Gaylord north to our destination.
Another SD9 that is up and running again, is Ex. NKP 358 restored by the Fort Wayne RR Historical Society! Does anyone know of any other EMD SD9's that are operational?? Nice video Jason!
Great video Jason hope thanksgiving weekend. Appreciate that you support and promote other railfan channels. Love seeing these young guys taking such an interest in the Railroads. Love the SD 9!!! Stay warm my friend
Those moments where you get rushed and don't dress up for the cold always seem to get one in the forehead and the fingers. Good old 1221 was saying to itself I worked in Upper Minnesota in colder temperatures. As for the train consist the consist is 9 private cars out of Alter and that was the group delivered at night several days earlier so they were a mystery. 19 cars of logs is substantial and it's been awhile since they've had that many go north so there's probably some from both Pembine and Crivitz. A few days ago the NB CN freight thru DePere had a group of 7 DJJX cars but also 33WC and asstd Shortline gons. They could be for Sault Ste Marie if someone has a lot of pipe to ship otherwise we'll see if Pembine gets filled up. Could they possibly be ready to ship that ore residue. It's always encouraging to see younger people take an interest in the hobby
Ya know it's too close, when you catch a glimpse of a truck spring popping out as the railcar is wobbling wildly and starts making all sorts of clanking noises.
We since Thursday to today Saturday received two storms, one with slush and the other hail. does ELS have a train length set? NBSR does as no engines set for DPU unmanned.
I had a great time with you Jasson

I am always amazed how this is a Quiet Zone with how many vehicles run the crossings and lack of gates at the crossings.
Always fun watching your Great videos of ELS in your area! Great 1221 leading!

Nice to see them picking up some speed. Good video !
It is always good to watch 1221 taking the lead and gets better with a green Freddy! Thanks for braving the cold and sharing. 👍

Black Friday..special offer scrap and pulpwood...!!
I got it ...put a magnetic sign on the outside of your car door saying " Watch You Tube trains"
Looks like he didn't wave on the street running segment
Nice video as always Jason looks like parts of the UP got hammered with snow.

That’s nice Tony my brother Gary Beck can experience early season snow plowing 101 lol😂
Good morning I enjoy the video👍👍
good train video
Thank you very much!
Looks nice but too cold for me. 78 in Tucson, AZ today.
Shortline street running is pretty cool.
Super cool of ya to give that young man a “plug” to his channel 👍
You need snow camo so they can’t see ya 🤣🤣
🤭
Chassell close to a foot of snow and snowing now Saturday morning
What kind of cheese do you want with that whine cousin Tony

Are those mini-log haulers?
Happy Thanksgiving
🎉
Say what you want about ELS but they seem to keep the locos in good shape. We got 18 inches at my cabin. Another 10 tonight.

Nice video. Is the E&LS still normally making one round trip a week up your way?
Most likely
I've never actually seen one fall off.
Hey Jason what's good bro? I didn't even get a notification for this video!🤷♂️
😮
Another great looking video. Maybe keep some gloves and a hat in your car. Never hurts to have spares.
Good tip!
A powerline easement on this railway tracks
PS. Supposed to say Happy Thanksgiving weekend.... stupid spell correct ....
Have you ever been snowed in?
Not able to get out of your driveway?
Until the city plows come, sometimes.
What town is that? Train going down the road.
Iron Mountain, MI
Can you see the train from inside your house? If so just set a camera up in your house.
Not quite.
