A:No it is not possible

tap a card to level it up and once you reach the level needed for extended level
look at left side and you will see below "practice" is "upgrade"

q: is it possible to get rid of/sell 1/2 star cards? if only 3 and 4 are upgradable it doesnt seem worth it to me to have 1 and 2 stars clogging up my filtering system
you cannot sell the cards you own however if you get the cards again, they can be sold and turn into wish piece

and on the bottom left side of your screen you will see the ongoing things the game have look for the one that has labeled "event" and when you tap it look at the bottom middle of your screen you will see the event shop named "exchange"

1 and 2 star cards cannot be upgraded only 3 and 4 stars can be upgraded
Everytime I go to my characters I click on Kohane and it saids that her level is max (20/20) but there is no upgrade button.

Q: what are the props for like u know ur buying like a guitar or a book what are those for? Is it for increasing ur power?
Answer for Q1: There are 5 attributes (element) cool, cute, happy, mysterious and pure. Every card has an attribute and every event has a bonus attribute. Cards that share the bonus attribute provide extra event points for that event.
Answer for Q2: The power of cards can be increased by upgrading area items associated with that attribute.

Yup.
You get them from doing gacha pulls
if you get a character card twice. that duplicate will go on green room then you can exchange it for wish piece(purple crystal)
to find green room look at top right of your screen tap the three lines and you will see green room
Note: higher rarity card gives more wish piece

coop room gives you more
buy them on event shops
note:the most effective way to get them is by participating every event so you can get event currency to buy charms/gems and miracle gem on the shop
and try saving them

you need the materials needed to upgrade them you can get them by playing songs and you can also buy them on event shops

card levels up when you play songs but you will need stamina (the one you see with 10/10 at your upper screen)
and when you play songs there are exp materials that will drop. you can use them to upgrade card levels

Answers for
Q1: there are 4 rarities of cards in the game which is 1,2,3,4 star cards and you can get high rarity cards by pulling in gacha
Q2: upgrading card level increases talent (higher card rarity = higher talent)
Q3: its a custom profile which you can find in menu (located in upper right of your screen) and then tap profiles. there you can create your own stylized profile

im late but i have a question! what’s the difference between charms and gems? and what are both specifically used for?
charms is pretty much easy to get while gems are the one that is harder to get.
both charms and gems are used for upgrading/extending a character card level
4 star cards will cost more gems
charms and gems is also used for viewing a card's side stories and by viewing their side stories you will get crystals
