It’s got a fully built JLP motor with a built tranny and a ken bell . It’s lowered with a western chassis lowering kit and reckless under bed notch. Bassani side exhaust and headers . I’m sure it’s got more in it if I can get more fuel to it.
The 2002 Harley edition I always wanted one I plan on getting one be a nice truck especially with super charger, 4 doors is nice for me, they have a color spec all blacked out with red flames going down the bed I think I’m shooting for that one! Both are beautiful trucks i own a red 2002 lightning and a 2001 HD truck both are super Kool but the HD is more of a cruiser and the lightning will definitely get more attention.
Man, best video I found. I have had 2 lightnings and my dad has had 1. Unfortunately sold both and dad sold his. He actually always wanted a 4 door Harley and I am wanting to buy one for him as he is best father anyone could ask for. I told him to look specifically for 2003 since its the 100year anniversary for Ford and HD. I also have a couple HD motorcycles. So been looking to make sure if bed sizing are the same size. I would think they do. Now that Insee you lightning and for price is awesome. Makes me want to buy the lightning again. Not sure if you made comment on bed size?
To be honest wih a couple hundred bucks and a tune the HD becomes the lightning the only differnece being the weight. So if it was me ill go with the HD for practicality cost and comfort. Both are amazing but HD just makes more sense In my opinion.
🙏🏼I could really use some help. I own the 100th and 105th anniversary Harley Davidson. I was wondering why Ford didnt make the Harleys have a top speed of 140 like the lightning instead of 120. The 2003 Harley Davidson is the only one with a 130 top speed. It's seems a bit backwards progressive.......PLEASE HELP
I think the Harley Edt. looks better.. but with that Lightning running like it did.. Only having 3?,k miles & laying down 400whp to the pavement for $20K.. I'd have to pick that Lightning!

To me they're only worth about twelve the fourteen Per truck They're too old to hire mileage and ford has a bad name now. They're not one owner trucks you will be the third owner On the paperwork And just because a motor was replaced Does not mean that it's a brand new truck. Still a truck with a hundred and fifty some thousand mile on it . Just because you have them cleaned app and you've taken good care of them. Doesn't mean that I would be willing to overpay for it
Good thing you didn't buy one of them!! I appreciate your opinion but in the end that's just what it is. A vehicle is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it and that's pretty much the end of the story. Thanks for the comment!

@@marcomontano9454 Badly picked modifications and "tuners" of dubious skill are what kills HDs/Lightnings. The fact that the Ford guys insist on referring to pulleys by "pounds" rather than their diameter (muddies the water for newbies, not to mention is a poor way of categorizing pullies in general) and rely on mail order tunes makes the situation dire. Combine this with Ford's inability to make a working knock detection system on the HD/Lightnings and you have a recipe for destruction. There's no reason a properly maintained, sanely modded 5.4 S/C shouldn't last almost as long as it's naturally aspirated counterpart. 200k should be no problem if you take care of it.
I have a 02 shadow gray Harley. Bought it new only has 60,000 miles pushing 548hp 622 ft . If I could I would love to have both trucks.
What mods have you done to get to that power level? Still reliable?
