Amazing performance! Greetings to all Zappa fans from sunny Greece
Life long Zappa fan here. The black page took me a long time to fall in love with. But when I see bands like this pour so much love into their efforts because somebody loves Frank enough to make this happen, it makes it much easier for me to be in love with this piece. Thank you.
Ive loved The Black Page since birth. Ive never seen this before. Im about to watch this over 100times in a row right now. Thank You for This. Im speechless. Bravo to the whole ensemble. Thats what Frank heard in his head when he wrote it. Breathtaking

I think there's more support for great art in Europe and parts of Asia than in the US.
They take care of people that are involved in 'niche' ventures.

Excellente version proche de In New-York de la première partie de Black Page par l'Ensemble Musikfabrik avec un arrangement de Ali N.Askin. Certains passages sont monstrueux de virtuosité mais dommage que l'on ait pas la suite.

What a catchy song. They look like they're having the time of their lives.
I don't think it was supposed to be catchy, but the funny thing is that it actually is. It's an acquired taste, I'll tell you that. I know every line in this song in my head and I find myself humming to it every now and then. Great song.
@@rollagiovanni Obviously I was kinda kidding ;) But by no means I dislike this song; I find it a fascinating piece of music and, just like you, I have started to almost memorize the song after repeated listening. Great song indeed.

If only they had a conductor; the two fast parts at the end weren't very "unisono". Nonetheless pretty much the best cover of The Black Page.

Unisono lacks cos of japanese sticker. She doesnt play in right tempo some parts. Useally a bit of ahead.

No synclavier here. It was created as a drum solo.

Including this one I think...
He didn’t have the synclavier until the 80s.
