She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Whenever her team mates tried to pass to her, two or three Barcelona players converged on her and double teamed or triple teamed her. It was such a clever display of the greatest team in the world, who can stop any team in the World if they are relying only on one or two stars. It was no match.
First of all: -Before Kundananji joined Madrid CFF, they finished the 21/22 season near the bottom of LaLiga on a measly 42 points. -In her first season at Madrid Kundananji scored 26 goals in 32 games carrying a below average team to 5th place in LaLiga which is undeniable world class goalscoring output from a 23 year old center forward who hasn’t even reached her peak yet. Kundananji mostly gets her goals from running in behind and catching defenders for dead on the counter often outpacing them or bullying them off the ball. You coming here and framing her as a pace merchant is borderline inaccurate and insulting. In doing this you are ignoring her ability to: Time of her runs to perfection, keep control of the ball when put under pressure by defenders and most importantly her impeccable composure in front of goal. IN CONCLUSION: The fact that Barcelona have to manmark her with 3 defenders says enough about the utter world class center forward Racheal Kundananji is.
