How to make Techwear Cargo Pants | Tutorial

- Today we're making some techwear cargos. This style of clothing can be very expensive but we can recreate the style. The hardest part is getting the taper right. Techwear pants are baggier around the thighs (more so than you're regular tapered denim) then slim down from the knee area. After tapering you just have to add the quick release buckles and you're set. The cargo pants I used are said to "repel liquids, dirt, and other contaminants" which is a similar trait of many techwear garments.

what kind of waist belt would you recommend for relatively cheap? Gonna try this later I just don't have any belts to fit the aesthetic

my cargo pants have a string at the bottom to make them fit slim on the ankle but they are wide on the shin i don't know how to taper them without taking out the string btw great video i really like how the pants turned out
I dont understand, how did you taper them by just sewing them in the white line? You sew it and then cut the part you wanted out or what did you do to it?

I have the same machine but when I sew those straps on it jams any suggestions?
You might need to use a denim needle its pointier and can puncture through the strap and pants better than the universal needle.

Generally they are Men's Tactical Pants. I used these in the video amzn.to/2FHleOT
