Ok just stick the whole avocado skin and all on the freezer! Easy peasy! You can out it in a bag if you want to help keep air out, but I have done it both ways. Stays green and consistency is a little more mushy than fresh, otherwise great. The thing is not to wait until they are getting over ripe. Buy a heap and when ready to eat but still firm freeze the surplus
Do you freeze them in a plastic? Slather with lemon juice first? What do they look like when thawed? Does the consistency change? Are they only good for guacamole?
Hey Stacy! All I do is cut them and place them on wax paper in the freezer over night. I then transfer them to a freezer safe container. I use them predominantly in guacamole, but when they thaw out they are still great for slicing and adding to things like salads and bean burgers.
What does an avocado cost in your area? How would you describe the taste? I tried a few times and I think they weren't good, or I just don't like them. 😅
Plüschkartoffel I haven’t always liked the taste either. And honestly they are a pretty fatty food so I don’t eat a lot of them, and wouldn’t prescribe anyone to eat a lot of them either but they do add a nice texture and flavor for some meals. These were on sale for .35 cent in my area!

I love this channrl. I am new to this lifestyle.
Awesome Sue! I am so glad to hear this!
Hi Gabriel, how long can they be frozen? Thank you!
After you put it in room temperature and defrost, was there any sign of change in texture and taste?
It stays pretty soft :)
@@PlantBasedGabriel I appreciate your reply, Sir.
What about the taste? Any difference?

Plant Based Gabriel That is cheap. In Germany I always see them for around an Euro for a single one.
I didn’t know they freeze well! Thanks for sharing! Will you try to sprout the pits?
Delightful yes! We love being able to save a bunch of ripe avocados for later. And no I didn’t sprout them, but they did get added to my compost pile!
when they are thawed aren't they too moochy to slice.. thus why make guac?
