1st Chicago rig that is "clean/underused" sick l.e.d.s on that medic rig,even in 100%blinding sun thosel.e.d.s don't wash out,like the old days👍👍 spare L 1 looks like a 110/135 footer👀

Any idea when E-one will start building rigs, out of this new 5 yr contract? I cannot wait to see Aerial Tower 1's new piece eventually. I am very happy for the city of Chicago they finally get a well deserved fleet replacement!

That is a 1988 E-one hurricane 135’
for the Chicago fire department. It’s spare aerial truck 1. though a rare catch today. As of 2020 it is still used.

I don't think fire apparatuses have seen manual transmissions since the mid '80s, if that. Maybe if you had ordered a commercial chassis, but a custom rig like this, no way
