Fall is in the air. Love is in the air is a song. Just how young are you? Getting a tree to fall against the wind is a bit tricky as the surface winds can change in an instant and without any notice. When you cut the notch, angle it. The lower of the angle in the direction you want it to fall. Back cut a little above the high point of the angle. Get into with the saw then use the wedges opposite toward where you want it to fall. Pound the wedges in as far as you can. Then slow cut and let it fall.
My trouble is that I think it will be an easy cut and do not take the time to do the best angles and position and that is without the wind doing it tricks with my tree top.
