- Hey Best Frannnnsss. Happy Wednesday!!! So I decided to test out my favorite Aunt Jackie’s product, the Curl LaLa to see if it could produce amazing results on a rod set. Check out my results!! I preserved this style using the mini pineapple method. enjoy

I have this product and used it without rods and definitely saw a nice curl.
Sunday I decided to do my first rod it wasn't bad but I had some frizz not do to the product. But I didn't have it wet enough on the roots. Practice makes perfect so I'll redo Friday. I'm also gong to try the other method you did with the eco.
Everyone really liked my hair saying how naturally it looked with my hair grade. Yes, I've been a subscriber and finally trying as I transition to natural.

I was just talking about this style while I was at work. So I just so happen got on TH-cam and seen this video at the top and I had to click on it to watch it. I absolutely love it. I will be doing his style on my hair this weekend. Yes I have he curl la la and the flatseed gel and I love it.

I used to curl la la it makes beautiful curls but it leaves my hair with a little white residue and I use the loc method.

My question is I have both of my sides cut like a mohawk i am trying to do something different with my hair front , middle, and back what would be better to use the perms rods or the other product. HI K!! Did you blow dry your hair before twisting? If so do you use a heat protector?
Makeda Sowbi no blow dry. I just twisted my hair in sections once it was dry.

i was so excited to try this style out using the exact same product and i bought it and as soon as i began putting it in my scalp started to burn. Turns out I'm allergic to an ingredient in it 😭😭

I use the curl la la and it smells so good But when I use it for my Bantu knots they don't come out curly 🤦🏽♀️

So I can use this product on dry hair or must I wet it first?
I tried it on wet hair, ( flat twist out ) it came out hard and dry looking. Don't know what I did wrong.
I have this product sitting in my cabinet, let me give it another try. Trying to get away from the Eco Styler gel, as it makes my hair flaky by the 2nd day (Wash n Go). I have 4a-b hair. I want something like the Eco gel, but no flaking so I can achieve 4-5 day hair. Any suggestions YT fam???
delyte22 Try the Ampro Argan Oil Gel(orange Packaging) - it’s protein free. Every thing else gave me flakes. Hope this helps! Good luck.

I use Hawaiian Silky gel activator for a soft wash and go, it doesn't have any hold thought. It's strictly for defining curl.

I like a lot of Aunt Jackies products, but Curl La La, does nothing for me, it balls up in tiny balls on my hair, never soaks in. I have tried every thing to get it to do something other than just sit on my hair and look like lint all thru my hair. So Glad it works for MissKenK because I wasted my money, time & effort with this product...
