thanks, Houssem, your video really helped me to understand ingress-controller; very informative and easy to understand
There are so many videos and so much documentation on ingress for k8s but I think you have created the best concise explanation of Ingress for k8s here and with a completely practical and working example. Genius in its simplicity - its not easy to both demonstrate and explain in a clear and simple way but you certainly master that art. Thanks for this and many other like it, in particular your Udemy courses - I reference your courses on DevOps with Azure and have done for some time now. Brillant work - thanks again !
This is just simple and precise explanation.
Just what I was looking for.
Thanks
MashahAllah great video
Hello, thank you for your tutorial! Your examples work perfectly however, when i'm trying to add some other objects in the same namespace (deploy and service) for one case i get a 502 bad gateway and for the other the first page isn't complete and i got some 404 for some elements of the same page. Also, seems the path added in the ingress in the webapp-ingress is missing for the subpages. I think i missing one annotation but i don't know which ones? Can you please help?
It was simple and straight forward, very easy to follow; however, when I test the routing capabilities, the page does not display but I can see in the browser a new tab shows the correct page name. why it does not load the contents?
Newer ingress controllers require a master controller now, what would be your solutions for having many ingress controllers? would you have all of them share the same master controller(with multiple replicas) or would you create a separate master controller per ingress controller?
what about http2, how to keep http2 between client/ingress/pod ?
Nice tutorial but I am trying to apply your solution in a non-eks aws k8s cluster but it is not working
Great video but i have an issue webapp1 service is not loading the web page it just blank which i saw on your video likewise my own service i deploy as well, does this mean we can publish deploy front end app using ingress controller route path?
Any answer on this yet?
I did experienced the same error then I tried my own image (angular page) and the same thing.
If I I changed the service type back to Loadbalancer both sites work as expected. So, something with the nginx controller configuration.
I am also facing the same issue. Not sure where it went wrong
Ingress controller breaks with css and js. i get 404 for all css , js and images. how to solve it?
Yes its failing when we integrate ingress with angular app i.e. first app.
