If Allah had not guided me, surely I would have been among the losers. I, a Muslim, will say it with all my heart. May Allah guide us and protect us from disbelief and associating partners with Him. May Allah preserve Shaykh 'Abdur Razzaq al-Badr and grant him success. He loves us and we love him for the sake of Allah. He cried for young men finding it difficult to get married and falling into the evil associated with women and secret habits and supplicated to Allah for their well-being.

Jazakallahu khairan. Is it possible for you to maybe translate bigger videos? There are many that are like 1 hour long by shaikh Al fawzan. I know it is a lot to ask for but it would really be helpful
JazakAllahu Khayran. Can you clarify if this is minor or major shirk ? Because Muslims who usually say that know inside themselves that it is Allah's favor upon them but they don't utter it with their mouth unfortunately.
Sheikh Aburazzaq حفظه الله mentioned it was hidden shirk in the video. I don’t know much beyond that so I’m also hoping for a bit more detail
it is considered minor shirk if your belief is that it was Allah’s favor upon you. even if you know this inside but you dont say alhamdulillah, but instead you only say: „If it wasn‘t for the car, we would have died“ this is still considered minor shirk. You must mention Allah before mentioning what was the sabab that Allah used to protect you. It can also be major shirk if the belief is, that only the car saved you and Allah didn‘t do anything audhubillah, but only your car is the one who saved you. I hope you understand this
what if someone says these things accidentally without realizing the implications but otherwise is careful of shirk committed intentionally? would Allah forgive such a Muslim?
The Prophet (peace be upon him) has thought us this supplication for such situation. Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oodhu bika 'an 'ushrika bika wa 'anaa 'a'lamu, wa 'astaghfiruka limaa laa 'a'lamu. O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not. Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oodhu bika 'an 'ushrika bika wa 'anaa 'a'lamu, wa 'astaghfiruka limaa laa 'a'lamu. I would like to inquire dear brother what should I do in this situation: bc I live in a very non-Muslim area, Hardly anyone believes in Allah so if I said “if it weren’t for Allah…” they wouldn’t like it as they don’t believe in Him, they can’t agree on it, so would sort of find it offensive - as if I’m trying to evangelise them in a way. Apologies if I’m not explaining this well. All-in-all shoudl I just refrain from the whole statement, I have no issue saying it was by Allah to non-Muslims, I’m just concerned if this breaches my relationship/respect towards them (their belief)
From my own personal experience, just say “Thank God.” or something similar. Chances are you’ve made it known that you are a Muslim so they know you mean Allah. But even so, what is the issue with saying phrases like “إن شاء الله “. I know many non-Muslims who have started using these terms because they heard the Muslims around them using them. Also, many of them gained respect for the Muslims because of their reverence of the deen of Allah. So don’t overthink it akhi. You expressing your belief is not a violation of anyone’s rights. They violate the right of Allah every day when they worship other than Him. بارك الله فيك
In my experience, as someone who comes from a Christian family, and Christian society. And lives in an atheist society, it’s just a matter of getting them used to it. Ignore the sorrow you have because it’s most likely shaytan whispers, once you get past that, the people will get used to you speaking like this. A lot of the times those worries we have are just waswas. People don’t care as much as we think they do. It takes time, but they’ll get used to it. Same applies to other issues like prayers and all. I went through this a lot, especially when I first reverted
Example of a statement. "If not for this technology of self braking for this car, we would have gotten an accident" instead of saying if not Allah helping we would have died
I don't get it either. Allah says to Muhammad ﷺ in the Quran "you guide to the straight path", so if I say "if it wasn't for the Prophet, I would not have been guided", what is the issue if Allah Himself says Muhammad guides? Of course ALLAH ultimately decrees who gets guided and guides who He wills. There is nothing that was said which suggested otherwise. Another example is me being thirsty and water quenching my thirst. If I say "if it wasn't for the water, I would have remained thirsty". Is this shirk? No. It's the truth. If I didn't drink the water I would have still been thirsty. So factually yes the water quenched my thirst. And Allah made the water a means and decreed I benefit from that means. And it is not shirk to give credit to the means that Allah placed for us. Praise be to Allah
Try to translate every word in English akhi. You dont need to translate توفيق into tawfeeq, because you have people who dont know its meaning. Translating Arabic words should be done in definitive English, not phonetic Arabic.
