HOWEVER, if that was the case, then the crew should have just called it "pigeon pie" and not "Victorian pigeon pie".
My grandma told me she used to eat water pie during the depression. My great grandma owned a diner in a small Nebraska town, and would make it for the local farmers. My grandma passed away 2 years ago. So glad you included this pie. Made me think of her ❤️
