Well done for starting to think about the issue. Perhaps go on to consider also that many cultural practices perpetrate discrimination and racism and bigotry against different minority groups and deserve to be challenged and condemned.

I mean I think there is something to be said for the fact that only some parts of culture are really "relative". I don't think any culture can claim to have the best holidays, food, dress or sporting traditions. Those things are all subjective preference. However when it comes to other aspects of culture like political culture, or respect for the rights of different groups then I have a really hard time saying that all cultures are equal unless you basically just willing to let anything slide on the basis that its "culture". Given this I think that the dichotomy between "ethnocentrism" and "cultural relativism" is not as clear cut as you make it seem, if you asked me I would say I reject both of them.

    What is cultural relativism?

Stop promoting this ideologically biased false dichotomy. Rejecting cultural relativism does not make somebody an ethnocentrist. Individuals can think for themselves and choose values which are different from those of the culture they were raised in. They can then judge all cultures by impartial standards based on reason and evidence.
