The assessors only have to have two years experience in the medical field ( non specific )
Most disabilities are incurable and should not be needed to be reviewed.
PIP was said to be a more inclusive benefit but turned out to be more exclusive
PIP was part of austerity program and has successfully led to the untimely deaths of hundreds of thousands of sick vulnerable and the disabled.
Very informative! In my case it has been just over 12 weeks since my initial call but I still have no decision yet.
I got awarded pip this year by a tribunal by phone. It was from 2020 till 2023. However dwp are going to review it in 2022.What do i do if they stop it before my award ends?
How long from when u have a face to face consultation do you have to wait for the decision?
4 weeks but upto 8 weeks because of coronavirus
How long after you get the letter saying you have been awarded pip
Do you get your back dated money played in to your account

I was on pip but they stoped my. Pip cuz they never recieved my letter I avint ad pip since February I rang them today they said they are looking in to it so how long does it take or wa happins next
The DWP are wicked and disgusting towards the disabled..I've had my benefit stopped suddenly today and have got to appeal..even though I cant breathe properly 🤬 what are we supposed to live on waiting about for them to get off their asses and make a decision

@@sueanne3139 true IV had mine stopped since Jan 6 I in remission cancer and depressed they give me 0 points they are foul

wife has inoperable brain tumour, notified PIP of her deterioration, they reduced her points!
Got letter today to say I failed mediatory reconsideration for pip after paying Fightback £96 to make this claim, I have been without any money for 3 years. It’s my wife that pays for everything including over payments to the DWP and council. Life means nothing to me anymore
Talk to me Colin. Im going through all this now.... it is a nightmare process
@@mikemccaine4229 I wish you the best of luck Mike, it’s been very tough fighting the DWP, but in the end at the Tribunal, I won and got over one year back dated PIP which came just after Christmas, before the new year, it was lovely to get my benefit back and I lump sum of over £7000, after 4 years without a penny, fighting a lot, it was a victory. So Mike, I understand how difficult it is to get what is rightly yours, but show the DWP that that you can and will win. The very best of luck 👍

I spoke to a lady the other day who said, you will most likely get another rejection letter from you mandatory reconsideration, but don't let it phase you, just get straight on the case and prepare for the tribunal. You have nothing to lose and probably a good few grand to gain." So it has made me feel a lot better. Again, so pleased you got your result. They are still absolute bastards though!!!
@Mike McCaine Yes Mike the DWP are a Mafia, even if they game a million pounds, I will still hate them for all they have put me through and what they have and are still doing yo millions of claimants across the country. Keep the fight going , Mike. A win for us is more than just a victory ✌️ but an encouragement for others like yourself that there is always hope at the end of the tunnel. It's a war Good against Evil. Winning feels amazing, and our success will come.

Can i claim pip for depression i suffer from a xondition called vistibular migraine 😔 it has runied my life
Phone them, fill in the application and then get back to me to tell me how you got on. You can get pip for anything medically related but it seems you have to jump through the same hoops whatever you illness. be prepared to be treated like shit!
