I really like this a lot! And, I disregard anyone who doesn’t like my fur babies. They interrupt Zoom calls, and so do my coworkers’ children. It’s life, and your babies are precious!

For my gratitude in April I borrowed my friends thing she does on Facebook called Three Good Things. So each evening I will reflect and decide 3 Good things.
I love the grown up take on Easter. Very pretty. I think the letters work on the side because the subtle florals make them pop and your boxes balance it out. Also you are planning with Bumble, pets are part of the package and they add that hint of character that separates your channel from the average planner. Love the pets and all their shenanigans. Keep up the superb work.

Dear Mary Ellen, again I must say, I love your animals. In the year before covid, over a period of months, we lost our 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats, they were part of our family for 8 years plus. I enjoy seeing your pets and I can vicariously feel the happiness, love and comfort from your furry family members. I can chuckle when I see them exerting a will of their own at inconvenient times. Due to reduced finances, in this times, we cannot responsibly bring pets into our home. So, seeing yours is very dear to me. Thank you for sharing them.

Cute spread. I can’t believe people actually complained about your animals!! It is planning with bumble. If these people don’t like animals too bad. I personally enjoy it when your pets make an appearance. I have 2 cats that love to sit on my planner as I’m trying to decorate it.

That Bumble moment was a TEASE, Mary Ellen. :P Love her face. Love all of their faces. And I love your planning. You helped me a lot last fall when I was dealing with a lot of stress. Watching you, exactly as you are, gave me some joy. :)
I always find it interesting when viewers comment on creators content....Someone telling you they are not a dog person and that your family pet is a distraction from the video is basically like someone contacting a sitcom writers, producers and director to let them know they are not an animal person and the family's pet on their new series is a distraction.
Here's the difference though...with every video you let down walls most of us don't and let anywhere from 1 to millions of strangers into your home. We get to know your family members, hear stories of your past. Watch you grow your creativity with planning and as a content creator and watch you evolve through the years as an independent, self employed, very committed and hard working women.
Specifically now during covid-19 we are all home more then ever before. not all of us can make special accomodations for our pets during work hours or filming schedules. Pets are like children to some of us. You spoke of this a lot more light-hearted then I think I would have it's also part of why I have yet to make my first video I have seen first hand what negative or judgmental awwcomments can do to someone not as strong as others.. My dog is my daughter. Don't like her sorry I can't help you. Wow sorry I didn't see this turning into a mini rant lol 😆😆
maryellen I enjoy the reality of your channel. You put it all out there and it's nice to feel like your a real person who shows us it's ok to make mistakes and live life and make videos the way you want and not feel pressure to need to change something just for views. I am so glad that you are trying the licky mat and puzzle toys (I was the one that suggested to get them). Don't listen to others that complain about Bumble. There are many on here that LOVE Bumble and Wallace ( also a new furbaby I think?). There is always going to be less than 1% that are going to complain about her. Don't worry, we have your back and Bumble's fuzzy ears (we will stand up for you and your furbabies)

Pets are fun! And a part of your life. I think you should have put "Big Plans - Trash Day" on your page. For many of us that's the highlight of the week! I actually chose the Mini size of Homebody for my Mini and also the bigger flowers for my Classic. Love this book! Love your spread, especially the "Flower" on the side and the 2 blocks of flowers that you created!

The colors in this spread are perfect. Using black ink to complete your plans will balance out the large peach sticker. Wallace hasn’t jumped up on the desk in a while. I love seeing him as much as Bumble.
It is okay for others to find fur babies and real children an annoyance. Everybody is different. But I watch influencer videos to see what makes them “tick”. One of the gals I watch has pet snakes. Fortunately, they live in aquariums and do not slither across her planner pages. But if they did, I’d hold my breath and keep watching because the influencer is hysterical and talented. I would not ask her to stop sharing her many dogs, cats, snakes and farmyard animals with us. We need to embrace our differences. Life would be boring if we were all the same.

On thehappyplanner website the book is called “Pastel Reminders” not “Happy Plans”, and it is currently sold out. For some reason the name isn’t what’s on the front of the book🤔 Just so you can find it in the future😁 And I just got the “Homebody Season’s” book and I can’t wait to use it. I always love your spreads & we love your animals making their appearances😍

Can't believe some people. If you don't like pets, don't watch a channel named after a pet. I don't like the news. It's 99% depressing. I have this little gadget called a remote that allows me to change the channel.
I had a planner that I watched a long time ago that insulted my personality type multiple times in the video. I hit that little unfollow button and that ended that story.

Honestly the pet cameo’s are one of the reasons I love your channel. I look forward to them. I think maybe 10% of the people that watch your videos don’t like the animals. It’s only a few seconds, if it’s that distracting then they should go elsewhere. Lol trash night!!!!!! That’s a big event around here.

I don’t have furbabies. Doesn’t mean I don’t love seeing yours. I’ve grieved pets that belonged to friends. If I don’t like the content, I don’t watch. Pets are part of your content.
