Hi Kseniia - I have done that road you outlined on the map but from the opposite direction. As you say the roads and scenery are beautiful. After loading our bikes onto the ferry from the north end of Vancouver Island to Prince Rupert we came back down inland, eventually to the road you are on. Brings back good memories. Keep up the good work 🙂

In Canada, drivers may turn right at a red light after coming to a complete stop unless a sign indicates otherwise. This is generally permitted everywhere in Canada, except on the Island of Montréal and at intersections where it is expressly prohibited by the sign on the right.

You already know this but: You can only change miles to KM - or reverse while bike is NOT moving... Right on red? Yes, with some restrictions. (confession.... Google told me this!). Great scenery!

Hi! Looks like km/mi is something that can be done only at dealership🤷‍♀️ that’s specific to US bikes - according to advrider

@@kseniiaadv Yikes.... Why on earth would they do that, extra dealer profit?) The Google video I watched was from the UK though.

The Sea to Sky highway is a great ride, for sure… but Duffy Lake Road is the ride you need to experience.

No, it was built in the 1960's. I could see the distant progress as I attended UBC. Before that, you needed to take a ferry to get to Britannia Beach or Squamish.

This video was the best landscape scenery video that you have filmed so far. IMO. I'm not less interested in your other videos The views were majestic in this video. British Columbia it's a beautiful place and some things come naturally. I look forward to more mountains and mountain passes. You take care of yourself and keep the videos rolling

Hi your video quality is thru the roof better. Really nice! As a viewer maybe think about 1) incorporating a little more bio off and on 2) Tell us more about the people and places you are visiting. 3) Check your comments every day. Not everyone views you video the first hour. 4) think about posting a 1-2 minute video every day at least. You could just use your phone and send it straight to TH-cam or Instagram and then check your comments. Keep up the Good Work.................Joe

Many (most?) U.S. bike riders choose Colorado, Utah and Alaska as if they were the only scenic places! B.C., Alberta (e.g. AROUND Jasper) and the Yukon Territory are filled with stunning scenery. I think you're in for some scenic Treats !

    • @kseniiaadv

There are endless beautiful places in the world! I also noticed that people in US have tendency not to go outside of the country. But US is beautiful too - I think that is just how it is.

    • @discoveror9576

Interesting observation, Kseniia. I suspect that Canada's increasingly Lefty politics ... and resulting willingness to burn the place down - to depopulate areas (not unlike CA, btw) ... has a LOT to do with declining tourism from the U.S. It wasn't until this year that Canada even opened its borders post-Covid to tourism - without a load of hoops to jump through. I suspect that people don't want to risk getting stuck/caught someplace without reasonable options?@@kseniiaadv
