i got an OPC, gf has a Clio. the OPC is way more fun to drive. The Clio is slightly faster
Corsa opc.....
Corsa OPC is the best small hot hatch you can have. Better then Audi S1, Polo GTI, Mini S, Fiesta ST, clio rs, peugeot 208 etc. You get the best sport chassis, dampers, recaro seats etc.

I'm a renault fan boy but i need to say that opel made a really good car with the corsa OPC and it also looks really good plus it is 10k price difference and manual gearbox ftw
Looks worse than the Clio and it being a manual is also a drawback.

+derbigpr500 sorry to dissapoint you, but opel interiors are actually for its class the best quality interiors out here. No squeaking and almost everything including the dash is soft touch. Its also very well built.

Gold3n GM agree, the Corsa's interior look way nicer and cleaner, I can only dream of having that car here let alone the Renault one

I just love the Opel's styling alot more, besides that, these models are dailydriven cars with the occasional trackday...both will be alot of fun and both won't reach it's limits on the local tracks...so who actually cares ;-)

Clio RS200 EDC have superior transmition to that Corsa...it is simply faster gearbox than manual...a lot faster.
I would definitely go for the OPC. Interior looks better than the Clio’s (exterior is equal I would say, both cars look great from the outside but I still prefer the Corsa) and it is manual which is way more fun. I also would say that the Corsa in general has a better build quality and is more reliable.
the clio is more reliable since it has alot of nissan parts. the engine is from nissan
Corsa has less power and more weight but still so close accelerating and has so close top speed. Corsa looks way better on inside and outside. Corsa wins. Opel is the best money/performance car over the world.

Both cars look great on the outside, especially with the orange color but I don't like the Clio interior and seats.
in the last two clips , the comparison shows the clio to be more bumpy at higher speeds . Can anyone confirm that ?

I drove both. And the clio is a nice car, for sure. But the OPC makes more fun. Much more fun. And i own one. And that was the best decision in my entire life.
Opel is with manual gears but it is still better

Lane discipline in Germany is fantastic, wouldn't recommend top speed runs on the public highway in South Africa
I like my opc corsa, it's so fun to drive on curvy roads.
Otherwise stock, but little bit wider tires to get more grip.
No point in revving corsa over 6k rpm.

Gašper Prijon gear box alone doesnt make a car beast. This facelifted one is 30 percent quicker than the one in the pre facelift clio. It has more power than the opel, a faster, more efficient gear box, a factory built in launch control system and is a quicker car to begin with. I think the exterior is miles better looking than the opel also
OfficialMINIm The 220hp version is only slightly slower than Corsa OPC, regarding the looks, to each their own, but my OPC is blue with black hood, roof, and mirrors, and tinted windows, and i c an assure u it looks awesome :)

Rather the corsa cuz stick shift, paddle shift ruins the point of hot hatch fun.
On a side note if I was to buy a clio it would have to be the V6.

@@legioner9 well, it looks better in your opinion. I like the looks of the Corsa more. Corsa is indeed more expensive. But you get a manual gearbox and that's more fun in my opinion

I have a corsa d opc (previous generation 192hp) and i love because its so much fun in the twistys. not on its best on the autobahn tho...

That Clio sounds way better.
I would rather take the Fiesta ST. Cheaper, with a Mountune stage1 kit is can have 200hp without the boost and weighs less as well.

You didn't know the real conditions of the street, weather, etc. By the way, the Renault have a DCT, what explains the touch of better acceleration, but at higher speeds, it becomes very slow where the OPC is a bit faster. The Renault doesn't even make top speed according to the speedometer.

It’s a ‘B segment’ chassis platform, so chassis only is used on Renault/Nissan/Dacia.
Opel/Vauxhall chassis is shared with Fiat/Chrysler.

I had the old Clio 182 in 2004 when it was new it was stunning in racing blue or liquid yellow , this new Clio is soooo ugly 👎🏼👎🏼
