Chicago's kinda been lagging behind New York in skyscraper building. New York has already completed how many now? Chicago has its own. But Chicago will be there and be on par. The thing about Chicago,.it is more well organized and not just some intimidating monstrosity beast of compiled structures/skyscrapers like New York. Chicago is more aesthetic and beautiful and powerful in it's own right. They have their own beautiful new skyscrapers to be completed soon that will add.more power, beauty, and.majesty to it's skyline and city boundary size. It doesn't need to have the tallest building on earth, although they can try. I love this city. Plus, I just like saying the word, Chi ca go. Hehe ...Viva España.
I feel like New York stole chicago ideas and American politicians and media are very bias towards some cities and governments New York everything Chicago gets shitted on the most a lot of people go there and have opposite opinions about it it's not what the media betrays it to be it has crime like every other major city Memphis and stlouis has way more crime than chicago Bronx also has a lot of crime that never makes it to the news so do Brooklyn and queens
If Chicago built the Spire it would be way taller than the central park tower in nyc it's like no city can build mega tall projects that will outshine those of nyc with fake environmental concerns or whatever is excuse they have to their sleeve
