Toronto has a bunch of grayish blue condos that sprout up randomly. They didn’t preserve their lake front so it’s just ugly condos hugging the water with no space for recreational areas in parks. It doesn’t have taller buildings than Chicago the architecture of their buildings isn’t that interesting. Chicago has a lot of issues but it’s architectural foundation and city planning isn’t one of them
Where do you live? Hong Kong? How can you not be impressed by Chicago’s skyline? Only New York compares in the United States. Nothing else comes close here.

Toronto's a high rise slum compared to Chicago. Just build anything anywhere, no rhyme or reason, just build a big skyline and they will come.
Lots of architecture is quite ordinary and city not much density outside of downtown. Overrated IMO. Waterfront is nice though.
