Why are they visiting her in jail? This generation has got to realize that just because a woman births you it doesnt mean she is your relative or requires your love and presence. Let her rot in jail as she deserves

Gypsy Rose did nothing wrong, it was self-defence. She shouldn't have received a sentence but rather therapy and support. She was punished for freeing herself from her abuser, madness. People should be assessed, and required to attend mandatory parenting classes, in addition to having a background check in order to prevent or at least reduce the amount of unfit people conceiving. It sickens me to my stomach.

A very good movie! I think the mother is suffering some kind of severe mental illness! It should be treated at once so as not to suffer anyone and be a victim of this kind of out of reality experience by a mother like that! She existed from out of real world situations!

See like the movie said that the dad was killed in a RTA and because of that she was too afraid to loose the kids and she thinks that if she can lie and make them sick they will stay with her forever and never leave that’s why when anyone seems to be a threat she eliminates them because she thinks they will be the reason her kids will leave. That’s why the ending when the crash happens she realised that she was doing the same thing that will eventually kill them that’s why she surrendered to the police and didn’t try to escape or hurt them again . Because she’s thier mother and they were her kids she wound never kill them that’s why the movies title was “Mommy is never gonna hurt you”

Illness*,it's a mental illness,I'm not even sure if the sufferes believe their own lies/disillutions or not. But sure,it seems downright evil,- luckily nowadays doctors are more aware of the symptoms of Münchhousen By Proxy. How DeeDee,(Gypsy Rose' mom), got away with it for so long is still a mystery to me tho'..helps being a nurse I guess.

There are real stories like this. mothers doing this to get attention and sympathy. Anyway why would one make it obvious packing bag to run for life?. She could have easily sent for help. Why bring fiancé ? She just st killed another woman's son! What a loss. Why bother seeing this mother?
