karina has trained at sm for i think 3 years, which is longer than the other non-korean members i think, so it's no doubt shes better at chinese, bc i think sm makes their trainees learn multiple languages to promote in those areas like japanese, chinese, and english?
i don't think SM teaches chinese to its trainees; given how diligent/studious a person is karina it's likely to be something she put in a lot of effort at school/academy to learn on her own

Didn’t ningning trained them longest ? She was part of sm rookies in 2016 and is Chinese.
