You should look up John Ecklin’s generator schematics. He has a few that show magnets shoving a piston rod back and forth by using a rotating shield between the stator magnet and the magnet on the end of the piston rod. It uses repulsion to propel the rod. The shield cuts off the repulsion when it rotates between the two magnets, allowing them to come close to one another before the shield rotates out from between them so the magnets can repel again.
That setup might work on your linear generator. It’s a way to reduce the required input energy while maintaining a high output, according to John. The input energy for the shields must overcome friction and magnetic attraction while the output comes from magnetic repulsion. Of the two forces, repulsion and attraction, repulsion is the greater of them and works at a greater distance. Hence, John was saying that a magnetic piston setup should be more efficient than a standard magneto because the required input is divorced from the resistance from back EMF from the coil.
It’s just John’s unproven theory, but it would make for an interesting experiment, if you like.
Think of it as a rotary powered (shields rotating between magnets) linear generator.

Next, add 2 or 3 more coils. And the LED will shine longer.
One issue with linear generators is the energy to accelerate/ decelerate and reverse the weight of the magnets, as well as the vibrations it causes when done rapidly.
To mitigate those issues, one can mount a magnet on a piston that swivels on an arm, and that arm and attaches to, and swivel against, a counter balanced flywheel.

    Use thicker wire for coil,
And rotate the magnets pile within the coil range area of the PVC pipe.
Ithink it would improve the result.

Nice, a supercap of a farad or two would make abgoos bit of difference , with the low voltage led, maybe some mosfets can be rigged as rectifier, to minimise the diode drop. The user could just sit and shake it when not used, to get a decent charge, I was thinking of using a old 7.2v drill as a generator, for a LED light, and emergency radio, if I can get 4.5-5.5v from it, just make a crank and Chuck it up. And sit and spin it for a while, I'm guessing, maybe 25 watts at about 4 to 5v use a small DC to DC, and maybe 100 F super capacitor, use the DC to DC to fully discharged the cap to about 1 volt, possibily use to charge a cellphone with it, just guessing 30-40 watts would be pushing it, I think it could be very helpful in a emergency, we seem to have alot of these days! Great work, good day,

In the 70's, there were flashlights sold in novelty stores that can charge button batteries (mercury cells) using this simple generator. One only needs to shake up and down or left and right to generate a little power to recharge the batteries. Eventually, the batteries died. Even when replaced, it didn't charge anymore.

@@youtubeworkshop3174 Yeah. It is used to charge the cells while not in use or not lit up. It was similar to the winding telephone where one cranks the device in order to charge, enough to make the call. Anyway, it really is enlightening to see people are still interested in this technology even if this was already commercially available decades ago.

How about using a tube, with multiple coils on the outside, with coilsprings on each end, on one inside, on caps, with the magnet in-between, alot like what you are. Doing, only use springs to accelerate the magnet in the opposite direction, a rectifier to convert to DC, I don't know if the springs will help generate more power, it works really well in my head!! Ha-ha!

      Use more number of turns

    • @kreynolds1123
      @kreynolds1123 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Its not fake. The basics behind this technology has been known for over 100 years.
Maybe this will help. Induced electromotive force (voltage) is proportional to the rate of change in magnetic field strength × number of coils.
Shake it faster, and or use stronger magnets increases the rate of change over a given period, thus increases voltage. Double the turns will double the voltage too.
Or you may have a shorted coil. Or your magnet is stuck. Or your LED is broken.
Or the LADis rated for more power than the magnet and coil can provide.

    🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.
