      That blue Bonnet is a cool piece. I'm glad that meeting your son made his day. Hopefully it drives him to continue with the model train hobby. That's what all of this about. Trying to attract new generations into the hobby. I will return to future shows in Allentown.

      I see comments from people in Florida saying there aren't any good train shows. I noticed that you can switch out signs. There was Pontiac, Oldsmobile etc signs laying on top. However for it to be a true Plymouth dealer or Dodge dealer it would need a total repaint. Dodge dealers were red and white while Plymouth dealers were blue and white.

    I feel bad you got rip off on the railking water tower.
    I am looking forward to you seeing shoot 4K UHD videos of O scale Trains sometime soon.
    My best friend and I are Train Collector Would like you to visit our layout someday in the future.

    • @Dakman
      @Dakman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I have grown over the years through experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. Viewers definitely like to see me inactiing with others and the show itself. However this is alot of editing work, around 6 to 8 hours. Where a non interactive video 2 hours or less. Right now I don't have the computer power to do editing on ultra 4K. Maybe some day but my internet speeds are so slow. It takes 4 hours just to upload a 1080HD 20 minute video. I'm always looking for layouts to shoot video on in the NJ, PA, DE, and MD areas

    Did they have any N scale? It’s been about 20 years since I was last at the Allentown Fairgrounds show.

  • @robkrasinski6217
    @robkrasinski6217 ปีที่แล้ว

    I haven't been there since Nov 2010. I was kicked out by an Allentown Police Officer and Bob House because I talked to a little girl at the train races and asked her her name and she runs to the officer and he comes up to me and warns me, he sits back down by the back door and then he gets up again and changes his mind and says you have to leave and walks me and I pick up an item I had set aside at a vendor then he walks me and my younger brother to the exit and stops by Bob's office and Bob says from the office without me seeing him you have to have your mom with you next time. The officer warns me after I told him I'm going in the farmer's market to get something to eat that if he catches me doing anything over there I'll be in trouble. Sure enough they had an undercover security with a radio tail me there. I called my mom and her man friend and had them come and get us. I kept quiet about it for several years then my mom's friend asked me aren't you going to the train meet this year as we drove by the building when nothing was going on. I then coughed it up. Then my mom's breathing got worse and she passed in the hospital last June 14. My mom's friend he lived with us since early 1994. She met him at the Maingate in Dec 1993. That's on the opposite end of the fairgrounds. He drives us around because my brother and I are mentally disabled and don't drive. We had a rental car since January because our 2013 Hyundai Sonata is having problems. He turned the car in earlier this week. He bussed by himself down to the farmer's market area today and said it was mobbed because of the train meet. He went to a Seventh Day Adventist church service nearby on Tilghman St. they meet on Saturday. My brother and I were home. We live near the PA turnpike.

    Maybe I should move out of the Tampa area and move up to the North East.There hasn’t been a train show in years down here. Especially at the Florida State Fairgrounds “the big one held twice a year. Very disappointing

    • @Dakman
      @Dakman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I heard there were not many train shows in Florida. But I also have people saying the same that live out west in Texas, Oklahoma etc

    • @wayneantoniazzi2706
      @wayneantoniazzi2706 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Check out "Railfan and Railroad" magazine's website and look under the heading "Timetable." You'll find listings of trainshows cross country, if there's any in Florida they'll be listed, I've seen them.
      "Timetable" is comprehensive and it's accurate.

    Hey Dakman I just just wondering do know anyone selling a Lionel cab2 remote? Got back into the hobby a little too late and was really looking to buy one. I’m sure you know there almost impossible to come by these days. Btw really enjoy the content. Thanks

    • @Dakman
      @Dakman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There was one in Oaks PA during the Greenberg Train Show but yeah they are impossible to find now. Your best bet is to get the Cab1L remote and use that for now. Those are available however you won't get all of the full Legacy controls with it. But better than nothing. I'm thinking once the Cab 3 remote rolls out you will see used Cab 2 remotes going up for sale and you can grab one then.
