This video is so much more entertaining than any other competitive game. People just can't handle cpma. :(
cpma CTF is def my fav quake iteration of CTF
I swear to god, this guy is one of the best FPS players I'd never heard of til now (and living proof that low sens doesn't necessarily mean you're always restricted in movement!) Can see his raw fundamentals more here than in duel. Really fun to watch.
That's because mechanics are far more important in TDM/CTF, that's why many players with excellent aim+movement+positioning etc will shine in these team modes but not necessarily in duel. The strategical part is huge in duel, as well as reading/countering your opponent.
@@Huqe Ain't that the truth, I know this is an old comment but I'm getting back into FPS a little lately :p I played UT2k4 "back in the day" and could compete in TDM at a decently high level, but I was always only average or above average at duel. It's a lot harder to hit an opponent that's always actively focusing on you, to say nothing of the tactical element. Was still fun though. (Played a bit of QL too, though my weapon skill was a lot better than my garbage tier movement)
As I recall, none of the top duelists were bad in TDM, but there were plenty of TDM players that weren't great in 1v1s.

Promode CTF owns your face. There's been nothing since cpm which even comes close to competing.
