I first laid my eyes on this game walking through a flee market in Johannesburg, South Africa. With my curiosity and astonishment seeing these 2 people playing DM17 on 2 old school computers fight for the win just blew me away! I'll never forget that day. We were to poor to own a PC powerful enough to run Quake 3. After a few months my parents finally purchased a new PC with had enough power to run Quake 3. I'd spend countless hours playing this game!

My absolutely favourite map. Only downside is the railgun. Should have replaced it with megahealth or shield, and made it harder to respawn frag. This is an amazing rockets-only map.

i miss demos with some old big names, like proZac, Blue, polosaity, unkind, steLam...clans like "unmatched", stickmen, 4z etc. man, where is the time gone?
