Hi guys! I've been watching ur channel for few weeks and today subject is kinda "everybody needs to choose by himself". I prefer roll and hybrids but strap is must have for me. I also likes fingersave in my predators for intense shooting drills or when I practice some close 2nd reactions. To sum up as You said- the most important thing is to get ur fit aand much cheaper is to get 2-3 solid different pairs then have one which gonna be shit after 2 months.

I am going to be honest, the Adidas gloves, if they fit right are very nice. They have wonderful grip. Great game Gloves. They are not bulky at all. Generally you have a strap versions of the same gloves for practice. They don't last as long as others. Hovewer the people buying them generally don't have a problem with money. Or they play for an academy with sponsors. Great Video!
Great video. I tried a pair of Nike Vapor Grip gloves - they have very good grip, not very much hand and finger support. I generally tend to use One Glove for training and West Coast for my game gloves. I prefer a negative cut glove and I use the 2 middle finger supports.

Great video. I use Kaliaaer they're my favourite gloves by far. I mainly use negative and roll cuts as I like both types of cuts. Kaliaaer are amazing for the price the quality is great and so is the performance for £50.
Haven't gotten a chance to wear them but have heard good things about Kailiaaer

i like thick gloves (like nike or anything other than adidas lol) it helps me gain more confidence knowing there is more grip and it will hurt less

I spent 3 years goalkeeping without goalkeeper gloves...I come from a really small city at first I didn't knew that goalkeeper gloves exist until one of my senior gave me gloves lol 🤣🤣
My all fingers are tilted now because of injuries...I prefer negative cut because I want to feel the ball more ❤️🥺

I loved the advice on the fingersaves I wear fingersaves only because I'm a musician and artist as well as a goalkeeper. Being a guitarist I use fingersave and it helps a lot but that's a whole different reason I think and I have an excuse to use them hahaha

I currently use Reusch gloves because they are the most comfortable gloves that I can get at size 12 (which fits fairly snuggly so smaller size won't do) and they are the best gloves I ever used.

My 9 years old son just started training as a goalie 4 months ago. I got him gloves with fingers savers. Would you suggest buying him a pair without so that he can have a better feel for the ball?
Yeah I would suggest him not using spines. 9 year olds really aren’t going to be shooting hard enough to injure his fingers by bending them backwards

I play indoor and I can say that fingersaves won't always protect your hands. I have had a broken thumb and a few sprained or dislocated fingers, even when using fingersave gloves. It might give you more protection, but there's no guarantee you won't get hurt.

I like strapless gloves Just because the fit is always the same. When I have straps on my gloves I have always tied them differently so i ended up straping them again and again like ten times in the game to have it tied properly. And big love from Czech Republic.
If you like them then stick with them. The strapless gloves are definitely not for me

Reusch ortho-tec SGs or R3s for me. Always a simple velcro strap. I don't like the elastic straps.

That's my preferred cut. My handling is much better in rolled gloves than any other cut
How do you save high shots like what is the right technique and positioning to save those high shots especially those from the side where they curve it to the top corner
For positioning, always cover your front post. If they curl it to the back post, shuffle to the side a bit and then dive towards the ball. Use your top hand to tip the ball over the bar or around the post. (if you are diving left, your right hand is your top hand and the other way around) i would recommend watching clips of professionals saving those shots online so you can study their technique. Good luck!

I use positive KAs(I take it that’s a roll cut), have been for 7 years now.
Positive cut is a flat cut, comfort wise they were the best but I think I prefer hybrid cut

What gloves do you recommend for better handling
I am older, 52, playing indoor. I wear finger savers because of all the stupid tendon problems you get as you age. I do not know to what extent these develop over time, but it would be worth seeing a study of how having them might impact your hands over the years, as breaking your fingers is not the only danger. For instance do they reduce the risk if arthritis?

I’m quite new to football keeping ( used to be a hanball goalkeeper ) but when I have strap gloves and I clean them The straps will not strap anymore and they just hang loose. Is this some mistake I made or something. I think I might wanna buy new gloves soon. So how do I take care of a new pair. Also I play on turf so I don’t think that helps a lot if my technique isn’t very well yet. Cause I tend to get up using my palms and I think that that is the main factor for wear

Not really possible for me to tell. But try focusing on your diving technique. You may be landing wrong/awkwardly which is causing them to hurt.

I have a question. If I have a past of concussions with footballs to the head, how can I stop fearing powerful shots. I really want to be a gk like you
I guess its all about getting used to it. My coach shoots a lot of shots from short distance to train my reaction time and make me getting comfortable with facing powerfull close range shots. Maybe if you do this a lot it will help you to get used to it too.
70/80 dollars is still much tho when you need at least 2 pairs on Artificial Grass and i think 40/55 dollars is better
I think you can chill out a bit with the reviews. A lot of people prefer different products no need to hate on them and say you don't know who would buy them. For example I buy Adidas negative cut and they last me the season. I have a preference for slimmer fitting gloves as i like to be able to catch all my shots and i feel like the other cuts don't let me get my fingers in my preferred position. Also I wear strapless coz i've had many times when the strap has broken before the gloves and im stuck wearing gloves with a strap that doesn't work.
Great video but can you try and give a more open review without being judgemental on things you don't like. You can say your preferences without diminishing other options
If you like the Adidas negative strapless gloves and think you preform better in them than others then definitely keep using them. With reviews I’m really just voicing my honest opinion. Non of it is scripted out before so I’m mostly just saying whatever is on my mind at that time. And I don’t believe my opinion should just be some accepted fact just because I said it. Plenty of keepers disagree with my glove preferences which is fine. I’m just telling you guys what I think.
And the “I don’t know who buys these” wasn’t suppose to be a shot at someone who uses the predators. I just literally haven’t trained with anyone who has bought and uses them. Its not like I think whoever gets them is an idiot or something. Especially if they think that’s the glove they preform best in. Because at the end of the day that’s really all that matters.

One thing I've learned as a keeper is you can buy 4 pairs of good gloves for £80 and its much better rather than spending 80 quid on a pair of gloves that'll probably last you 5 mins

Adidas Predators are worth the money, but I do wish they had a strap. Still, the handling and feel is very natural. I suppose they would be considered expensive but I am comfortable financially so I have three pairs. If you have the money buy Predator Pros or even the ones with a strap

I’ve actually heard a lot of the top pros who have the “strapless” models actually have custom made ones that have some type of strap on the inside is the wrist.

Those pairs of Adidas gloves shown in the video are absurdly overpriced, and don't really protect the hands. They are more of a fashion item to me, not to mention that even a legit pair of Adidas gloves won't last for long because of very low durability!
