This is the only video I could find that told me the Right Arm is the Flamethrower. Kept searching for how to get the Flamethrower and Finally I found this one. Thank You!!!
To be completely fair, I didn't get that bit entirely right, I looked inside the expedition where it was just labeled right arm, but the quicksilver dude shows flamethrower. I am glad tho that either way this helped you figure it out, lord knows they make stuff way more complicated than they need to.
This was covered in other comments. The point I was making was inside the expedition tab, the "flamethrower" was not mentioned with the right arm reward. I pointed it out because it was confusing, and a silly, small detail HG couldn't be bothered to fix.
THANK YOU BRO! New to the game and I got this upgrade a few weeks ago and have been trying so freaking hard to find out why I don't have the flamethrower for this damn mech! Finally have a reason. Also you are absolutely correct about the update. They made it seem like it was a complete overhaul of the world's design but it made the water choppy. Now with the "Aquarius update" we get fishing...wooow, something so boring I don't like to do it in real life but yeah I'm gonna play it in a game. No thanx.
Fishing did actually add something playable tho, Worlds was all fluff and window dressing, the water physics are flat silly, but it does look better. I actually prefer Aquarius to Worlds 1, just my opinion tho.
Looks like we are mid tier 5 now, shouldn't be long till we can get it and be dissapointed that it isn't as good as we have hoped. Based on some folks using mods here in the comments, its not very good

While I am sad too about planets since my nice paradise planet is now a living nightmare I wish they didn't change planets most seems dark and gloomy now it not good. @@thehamster5848 Nah, I just learned awhile back that duping and exploits really splits the community, very strong opinions on both sides, I like doing science stuff and sharing an opinion, just a bag of worms I have closed up. I assure you tho, that content is out there, might still work.
You need to do the Liquidators Expedition and unlock the skin for the minotaur’ right arm called “Liquidator Right Arm”. Then you can use the flamethrower
Thank you for being honest. I'm tired of so many youtubers praising the game endlessly. Hello Games screwed my huge base, now giant, non-removable trees are growing through it. It was a paradise planet, now it's a marsh planet. I spent months on building that base.
I have heard this time and time again, the "improvements" ruin something people spend lots of time doing, and HG is unapologetic. As for honesty, I agree. When something is good, I will say so, but when it isn't, well, I say that too. There are too mant youtubers worried about clicks, and have lost the ability to be critical.

People had the right to be angry but he pretended like they don't, that they should just stop playing if they don't like the changes so much and not criticize it, while he was completely ignoring trolls who attacked the complainers in the comments and made fun of them.

I will never pander for clicks by lying to anyone who takes time to watch my stuff. I will praise things when warranted tho, it is something others in this space have forgotten, or willfully ignore, but I assure you, it won't happen here.
The flame thrower is the last reward for the community part ....right arm i believe. Im not a fan of this gating behind the community. by the time we get the reward there will little reason to use it... Unless theres more combat coming in part 2 but that eont be until this expedition runs its course
This is more my point, but even then it just says right arm, and not flamethrower anything. Imagine making the decision to not make a flamethrower a part of a exterminate bugs expedition. Would have really added something to the Experience IMO. No one else is saying these things, you look around and all you see is video after video saying this is the best update in years, and I don't see it that way.
@@J3ST3RIRL If you look in the Quicksilver Merchant under craft with Quicksilver it clearly states the Minotaur right arm is a Flamethrower . If you want the upgrades without waiting you can allways "cheat" the system and turn off item cost to get the upgrades to finish the Expedition.
No again, you can't, they are not unlocked based on it being tied to the "Community Event", even with purchases free, u can't get it till the event unlocks it. I am standing looking at it right now in game.
@@Pip-vq4qf and what is worse, there is a chance we don't get it at all if the event doesn't cap out level 5, can't you see how bad this setup really is? HG does this all the time in one form or another, and zero of the people I looked up to when I started, call this out, its just peaches and cream every update. I'm not saying folks gotta be a butthole about it, but some critical reporting is a good thing for the game.
@@J3ST3RIRL yeah, the colors look muted, like HDR mode is used. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. Looks great when it's enabled on a supported monitor, but looks terrible on standard(SDR) displays.
@@TabalugaDragon I have full 4k HDR monitor, and record at high settings, could be something lost in running it thru my editor. If I record in standard 1080, all the edges look fuzzy and the recordings are basically trash. Oddly this is the only game I have to record in 4k, to avoid the issue. Optimization has never been a strong suit of HG. Even my Nvidia software will not save the optimal settings, again, the only game that doesn't.
You did'nt look at all the update. Have you compleated the Expodition?, if you did did you compleate the optinal steps? The rewards for them are several upgrade parts for the Minotaur. You can also buy them from the Quicksilver merchant . So if you are going to diss other content creators make sure you know what your talking about !!
First off, I can't complete the optional steps because they are tied to a community event, second, no where in any expedition reward is there a flamethrower listed, go look. it shows right arm, left arm, legs and frame. As for the rest of the update, its a nothing burger aside from admittedley good looking graphical water. The planets are not as good as before, weather effects are turned up not only in visual, but frequency of storms as well. As for dissing... I dont see it that way, I see it as encouragement to look at things harder and not just drink the kool aid everytime something drops. So, if you wanna come at me like that, I think you should know what you are talking about, both questions answered, and you are dead ass wrong on both, and we can agree to disagree on wether or not I am dissing your fav fanboy that does not give you all the facts. I do my homework on topics, go in game and look for yourself.

After reading some comments it's clear you already know this but you appear to be doubling down on your stance. It doesn't look good imho. I understand your frustration, but you just made a mistake and blamed it on the devs. Admit it and move on. You want to roll another vid to give critical feedback that is actually warranted, that should be received well, I would think, but this one doesn't reflect an informed opinion - or at least one I would listen to.
@@Kalano I fully admitted it was in the quicksilver vendor as the right arm in previous comments my guy. Inside where I was looking as a reward for the expedition, it is just called "right arm", and I stand behind that. It is a Dev issue at its' heart. Lack of consistency in game falls on them. Hiding content behind a time gated community event, just so people have to log in to check progress, is a horrible way to implement this regardless of if I made a error by looking at it in the wrong place, which I HAVE since admitted. I don't see how splitting hairs about where I saw information, right or wrong, makes me look uninformed, it actually highlights the inconsistencies and detail Hello Games so often overlook. You can choose to not listen, but IMO that is short sided over a minor thing about where it's listed and how.

You know you need the Right Liquidator Arm from the quicksilver merchant right?

@@thehamster5848 there is a way to get infinite QS, I won't share it, but if you look it up, there is def a way. At least therre was a way.

Sorry just checked you cant change difficulty in Expedition but you can still buy the upgrades in any save without waiting for Expodition to end.
