I feel for you noble and good people. Slava Ukraini. My maternal grandmother is part Ukranian. Some of my warmest memories are of Ukrainian Canadian friends. I thought of myself more as British and Scandanavian with some Creek, Cherokee, Spanish, Swiss, and Ukranian blood in me.
Bucha was what led me to Ukraine. Bucha was where all my initial contacts were from which would lead me on the most incredible next two years of my life. Absolutely incredible people there, a beautiful culture and national community.
Yes, the people of Ukraine are lovely people, but the SBU, Azov and Kiev regime are pure evil. I have been to Ukraine many times since 2011 and many friends have died, some killed by Kiev regime. Bucha was interesting as Russian forces had left and the Mayor was on TV saying that all was calm and quiet, then 2 days later mysteriously all these bodies appeared. Radio Free Europe is a name I haven’t heard since the mid to late 1980’s to early 1990’s. Being an 18 year old newly stationed young man in a foreign country listening to this news agency over the air waves gave me such comfort. In fact I think this news agency was the most listened to radio station in the Soviet Union during this time period before the Berlin Wall collapsed & to a massive degree helped win the Cold War. Crimes of others, however, do not influence the evaluation of what the Russian army does. If you'd like to learn more about it I could again recommend to start with the bibliography.

As a German, and historian, I would like to add that the Wehrmacht was involved in massacring civilians - on a large scale. Crimes of others, however, do not influence the evaluation of what the Russian army does.

@@TauNomm I read the entire article and it never once mentioned standard enlisted troops performing a complete massacre of a civilian center like in Bucha. It certainly happened but, from what I have seen, not under the standard Wehrmacht.

It is, of course, a short overview that doesn't list all cases but there are examples given for several countries where the Wehrmacht operated. The detailed nature of the respective war crimes can be found in the literature. In sum, decades of research have found a vast involvement of the Wehrmacht in war crimes. If you'd like to learn more about it I could again recommend to start with the bibliography.
