Thanks for going in depth on this I was considering it for my mom. Shes in her early 80s and she wants powder she can take on the go and I don’t see her taking brushes with her. You’d be surprised at how many high end powders don’t have a puff. I was considering this or maybe the Besame powders because both have puffs and look nice. Does the Charlotte Tillbury have room for a puff?
No puff and no room. and the way 80 yo’s do makeup if it’s like my gran they like a bit of pigment like a powder foundation but not super matte and not as much coverage as a powder foundation and they like a little glow cos skin tends to be dry. This type of powder would be good and the puff is good. Or another one to look at would be the powder from makeup forever that has more coverage and blurs
Its weird cause pressed powders actually work better for me on my undereyes and face rather than a loose powder. They get creasy and cakey on my dry skin. I love pressed powders. Thank you for reviewing this I know you will still say if it's good or not, period no matter the preference.
@annpaquette4149 Back in the day lol I used the covergirl clean powder in the square black pan. I used it all over my face it had some coverage. Now, I use the LYS translucent pressed powder. Just any lightweight powder. I do have very dry skin. So all the products I use are light weight because I don't want to have to use a lot of makeup cause no matter what, the more on my face it looks so bad and dry, lol. Hope this helps.
I did get it. It is nice. I think for me it’s feels a little lighter in texture than the Charlotte Tilbury. I got translucent light. It did darken my concealer. So next time I won’t use it under eyes. I usually use Pat McGrath under eyes. It’s gonna be great for touch ups.
@@aj__love5919 ohh I don’t have that one sorry. I will say this. It’s not like wow the best powder you have to have it. It is nice I like it. But if you are happy with the By Terry. I don’t think you wouldn’t like. But it’s not like OMG it’s a must for everyone.
@@veronicamcminn7775 oh I don’t have the Terry one either🤣 i thought of asking because i know hourglass doesn’t disappoint so I’ll probably be getting that just conflicted between the two
Great video thank you! I will pass because it just seems like a bit too much work (I am oily too) At that price I don’t want to do extra work. It would probably be great for my bestie and her super dry skin! 👍
Thanks for the review as I've been considering this over the past couple of days. I would def need a setting spray with it. I did notice that even though you were shiny, the makeup did not change colour or break up - you looked fresh shiny (if that makes sense!). It looks like it would work wonders on bare skin too.
I’m intrigued by this but I’m wondering if this is the hourglass powder to buy or splurge for the face powder palette which do u prefer and which is better this or the huda peach😅
Thank you Amiga! You look beautiful 😍! I’m loving the lip combo!! It’s a bit pricey for me so I have to pass right now. Yes please do the comparison between HG and CT! I’ve had my CT powder since the last sale lol 😂
100% Gastada! I haven’t seen you look this oily in a long time 😂. Trying to get a refund back but you know it’s hard in the UK to get any return on opened products. 😅
Honestly, I thought so too, but she seemed to like it and gave it a positive review in the end. I've been following Magdalene Janet for a while now and I was surprised at her takeaway. Maybe it just looked worse on camera?
@@MissMorganJasperyes I was a bit surprised with her take on this review too because the end day result did not look good. But I am still very appreciative of her unedited detail wear tests and use my own judgment based off that.
I can't say this enough I love hourglass!!! Only their concealers do not work for me they crease wayyyyy to much but other than that their products are amazing especially their Translucent Setting powder. Amiga can you try the Hourglass Lipgloss Balm! I am thinking of getting some I heard it is good.Thank you for letting us know that translucent powder gets into the creases and pressed does not extremely useful to know!
Today was my 1st day to use it and I'm very oily and it kept me smooth and matte all day!!
IM SHOOK
OMG yay!!! so happy to hear!!!!
Seems to me the powder doesn't hold up well over time. You still look great, nonetheless. Thanks for the review!
I gasped when you first applied it, you looked airbrushed!!! Wished it had oil control though. Thanks for the review 😀
girl me too hahahahaha!!!! Yasssssss
I can’t stop looking at her face, stunning
Im impressed with the touchup. Sometimes after touchup it can get cakey

Which are your most favorite under eye pressed powders? I'm looking for one that doesn't change the color of my concealer. Crease land here

Once done, your makeup looked flawless. You looked airbrush. I think it would be an excellent finishing pressed powder
thank you!
Would you say it’s more blurring then huda loose powder? Or givenchy?

Best review of this powder I’ve seen thank you ❤

Do they a sell the refill powder
This is better or the Laura Mercier pressed powder is better?

Very disappointed with this powder. It has 0 oil control dispute claiming heavy on the oil control! Not worth the price AT ALL!!
