Love the clever use of tools to assist in reattaching the elastic. Some of my absolute favorite restorations have been vintage air rifles and pistols like my pre WW2 Daisy Red Ryder. Nice work on those pieces!
Thanks, must say that I'm the same, I've always liked working on old airguns etc. It's so hard to get hold of them in the UK now, otherwise I'd do more videos of them.
In a way, I'm glad that it broke, its nice to do the whole lot from scratch. I was going to have a go at firing some BB's but I've pulled a muscle in my arm, it'll wait! Cheers 👍🏻
I wish it would start helping out a bit, hoping for a good crop of apples out of it so I can made some more apple crumble this year. I hacked it back a bit too enthusiastically last year, think it may have forgiven me now😁

Fantastic video Alex! I never knew that was how you attached the ammo pouch. Thanks Man!

Blimey!
I had both of those in my early teens.
They certainly took me back in time, only seems like yesterday! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Excellent video 👍😊
Cheers, it was a nice little project.
@@Bloodshed.restorations cant beat the milbro frame 👍🍻
A leather belt hole type punch works great for installing tubes.
Thanks for watching, I've actually got one buried in the shed somewhere, I'll to hunt it out for the next one👍🏻
When the lathe was running, it looked like the tree branch outside was actually working on it! 😂

Great job restoring and rebuilding the "catapult"? Did you call it that for fun, or is that what you guys call a slingshot over there?
That's what we call them, good point though I should add that into the title. We do call them slingshots too👍🏻
