Thanks for watching, everybody! Are you considering this tripod? Is there another in this price range you'd recommend?

Got one yesterday. Pretty nice budget option at roughly 160GBP and it has a regular 75mm bowl. Rated for up to 8kg or 17.5lbs. Fluid head is metal but controls and latches are plastic despite the metal look and the spreader is fixed. Worth the price and Smallrig have a good rep but I'm pretty sure I found the same tripod branded as the usual subjects on Amazon, so it's Smallrig in name only IMO.

Hey thanks for watching! Ya I've seen a lot of other "heavy-duty" tripods on Amazon that look quite similar. I wasn't sure if they're the same tripod or just the same design. I will see how this one holds up over time. Take care!

Very entertaining haha. I am looking into getting a tripod, think I'll add this to my shortlist.

Lol thanks! I'm definitely liking it so far. The real test will be how long it lasts. So far I'm pleased.

@@scottdionbrown I've never had a camera before, only my phone. I am interested in getting either the Fujifilm XT30 or Canon 850d, this tripod might suit those cameras nicely 📷

@@DrawingTechnical Yup it'll definitely support the weight. I've had my camera with the shoulder mount, matte box, and other accessories on it and it holds it well.

welcome to the world of cheap tripods. eventually you will go out and spend the 700 plus dollars to get that reliable workhorse you need for gigs. for the price it looks okay, but probably will start leaking after a year or two like most cheap 'fluid' heads.

Ya I am very curious to see what the longevity of this guy will be like. I hope I get a few years out of it. We shall see. Thanks for watching!
