    Had one of these when i was 17 im 49 now haha mine was the dark blue one had twin microns amazing power band thru every gear for an old road 125 loved it

    The Polished left hand crank case cover is RD200 , Sticks out much further than the 125.

      Hi, yes because it is an RD125 engine with an RD 200 dyno start and side casing. The casing has since been painted to match.

    On the RD200 the alternator and the starter motor are one and the same, so you don't get the traditional starter motor sound.

    hi buddy im thinking of doing the same to my bike remove the rear mud gaurd like you what light unit did you use and what fitting etc ?

      Hi kevin, I built this 12 years ago and have not seen it for the last 10 years as I am in Germany and the bike is in the UK so I really can't remember.

    already a famously peaky engine with a narrow power band and poorly chosen ratios.. wonder what the expansion chambers to to that ! ?
