Instead of coil overs what about lowering springs? I’m currently on H&R springs with stock shocks. They lower great and are one like $260. I say keep it, but I’m biased.
As a CR-Z owner I really enjoyed the videos and also wanted to see more content it made me do stuff on my car too, I installed a completely new sound system, head unit, wheels, etc. I still have many plans ahead but I like watching other CR-Zs owners. In my case I will never sell this car, is just really fun to drive, but if you think that's the best idea, go for it. Maybe in the future you can get another CR-Z and start over. Keep it up 😄
Enjoy the CRZ content, tbh not something I ever woulda went out of my way to watch, but always enjoy your videos so stuck around for it. That being said, if you were gonna sell, might as well get the most you can for it to move forward onto another project. Whatever you decide, will still continue watching since the content is always great!
At 1st I didnt like the CRZ, but with the mods you did it looks really cool now. I think if you stand to gain a good chunk of profit from selling it now, you should do that. The funds can go on to another project car that we can all eventually love

As a fellow crz owner, I'd highly suggest selling it for big profit and picking up a 6mt crz so In the future you can k swap like I am currently doing.
As much as i look forward to the content and appreciate it, i think you should sell if that was your end goal. take advantage of it. i love my Cr-z and plan to keep forever, but he community is niche, and few are into modding it. would be sad to lose you in the community, but do whats best for you. good luck!
If I had the time to video all the mods I have done to mine I would. I plan on putting a body kit on it and a carbon hood and hatch. I've done put wheels and colonels and a rear performance bar to help with the body roll and a Megan strut tower brace and slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads. Also plan on doing a cold air intake and maybe a turbo if possible.
I'm here for the CR-Z. Bought mine a few months before you and would love to see what you do to yours to get ideas about what I want to do with mine. Keep up the great content and I'll be sure to check it out every time. ❤
My Cr-Z is mostly stock, I couldn’t imagine lowering it seen as it already nicks going down curbs. I do wish I had money to buy a second one or a 3000GT and try my hand at modifying a car. If you’re not dying for money I’d stick with the car for a bit longer, and then make a post willing to sell it, but still drive it around to get some content. I do feel like a 3000GT would be a great project car as there’s a cult like following around it, but it’s hard to find people to work on it. Definitely my dream car in the end of it all.
Gotta do what's best for you man. I know personally I enjoy this series and never really noticed the CRZ until you started on it. The issue you'll probably face is that when you decide to sell you're catering to a small group of buyers because it's a hybrid, a cvt, and modified, which typically doesn't go together. But that's also what makes it so sweet and unique lol
I just bought a CRZ back in April and I am loving the content and the car. So many if my friends didn’t know what it was when I got it, but I have fallen in love with this little two seater and your content is the best. It would be interesting to see what you could do with the CRZ. No matter what I really enjoy the channel. Keep the content coming!
I love your crz content. There's not really enough of it out there. I have a 2015 EX MT and absolutely love the car. Have lots of plans but we'll see what happens. My dream would be to turn it into a turbo'd k swapped awd street machine!
I thought about selling mines but I can’t. I’ve had mines for 4 years. The car really grew on me. I’ve dedicated I’m going to kswap mines in the near future since more how to videos, parts & kits are available to make it happen.
i like to think the CRZ as a temporary project, as the white Civic like you mentioned, personally, if you want to be smarter and more benefited in the long run, finishing up what you want to do and sell it is the best course of action i recommend, if you want to ever do more content, maybe look into other cars you're interested in and have fun with it, either way, I'm happy to see where the car has reached, and now it's time to try something new, either way, I'll support you throughout whatever decision you do, make sure to keep up with your content, because it's absolutely awesome! have a good afternoon ^^
Personally I’m happy you got this car when you did because I been looking for a fun far too have and great on gas. The stock look isn’t that bad but I wanted to see if anyone had done a kit on it and I came across your channel and it was great I been fallowing the series. If you think selling it is better for you then go ahead and do it. I’ll still keep watching, I wish I could buy it off of you but im currently not financially stable.
@@ALLDAYANTHONY It makes sense though. Your CRZ is at its maximum value right now. Why throw money into it right before the value of it is going to drop? Take all of that profit now and put it towards your next build.
dude, loving the CRZ content, love Honda stuff in general, but you do make that CRZ look good. Just a drop in the bucket, but I'd say put some feelers out for it? It always seems like the Insight and even the Clarity are first choice for Honda hybrids, but the Civic hybrid and Accord hybrid were underperformers in both sales and performance.
I love the CRZ content. Always been intrigued by the car. And no other channels that I’ve seen feature it like you. So I was stoked when you picked one up. But whatever you decide is the best move for you I’d understand and be there to watch your next build 💪🏻
Personally I think it’s just a little uninspiring with the cvt and i don’t think a cvt works with a louder exhaust either with how they hold rpm. For the next project I think something a little older would be cool, like your red civic. Something that needs a light resto with the usual detailing and modification content. Personally though, I’d just keep this until you find the next build and just keep saving money on gas. Prices don’t fluctuate too much just on gas prices compared to how much this car saves in fuel.
I have exhaust done on Honda Fit CVT. It would be a pain if I didn't have the 7 simulated gears. The gearbox actually does a reasonable job of emulating a traditional auto and feels direct enough. Definitely don't go anything too loud and droney though since cvts like to hang out at 1-2k rpm
I think you should at least do the wheels and coils. It's an AllDayAnthony car...it'll sell whenever. Love your content I'm good with whatever you do. Love seeing cars get your personal touch. I would be stoked for content for this car or whatever car you do next.
I always looked forward to you vids about the CRZ. I have my eye on one and was about to follow some steps you took in regards of mods. I have the feeling there is just to little information out there on the whole modding a CRZ topic. But as you said it is difficult for sure. Do what’s best for you man. Imho sell it and save the money for another project!
I actually really like the CRZ and the build but if your intention was to sell it. Now is the time. It really is the best time now to sell IMO so thats what i think you should do. I really do love the build though showing an economy car being a cool car go option 2
If I were you, I would consider the factor that there is very few good content about the CR-Z so, I wouldn´t sell it right away before I squeeze all the content I could get from it, including the technical details and your experience advices. New wheels, modified lights, audio, suspension, stereo, even a manual conversion if you want to. You will end up with a beautiful unique car that will sell fine in the future, and every person that ever owns a CR-Z will come by your channel getting the input that they seek for. Idk, maybe you will become an important figure in the CR-Z niche legacy. Maybe the investment was not buying the car to sell it but to make it the first documented best tuned CR-Z in youtube history.
I think you should continue doing all the videos, all the mods, the body repairs and the interior cleaning. Get a total cost and the raffle it rhru your channel. Subscribers that watch your videos might be interested in the car and since they see everything you've done to it, people would know what they are getting.
Enjoy the content no matter what it is. Because of you, i put an s2k steering wheel on my em1 and it was the best thing i could probably of changed on it. If you feel you need to sell, do so. No one can blame you for taking advantage of an opportunity.
got a wrecked one for $300.oo dollars. Passenger side destroyed fender, door, rear quarter. Replaced all from pick'n pull yard for under 400 dollars. So far, so good. Trying to stay on the cheap.
I’d sell it, get a Prelude or old Eclipse and go crazy with it! If in fact that might be up your alley, I have a buddy selling a Prelude. It has high mileage but is insanely clean. You could eat off it and the factory leather seats look like the car has 70K miles on the car. I know you say it’s a civic channel, but kinda have a CRZ channel as well. Might as well make it the Honda channel you hope we all know and love. Great content man, keep going.
Great video!! It is a dilemma for sure what the best game plan would be looking forward. Many people would be stuck and perhaps be tempted to leave the CRZ as it is and wait. I would imagine that installing coil overs, wheels and tyres, etc would improve the looks, plus color matching the hood, which gives you a lot more TH-cam content, but may not really pay for itself though. It is so difficult to say. You could see what offers you could get on the CRZ as it is, then make a decision maybe. IDK. Great car!! Great video!! Thanks for posting.
Do whatever you feel that is best for the channel. The money you can get now may be able to fuel future projects or that the CRZ monetization is enough to justify to continue keeping it. Whatever it is, we all know you’ll deliver good content.
Anthony if you sell the crz please consider getting a Honda Fit, preferably 1st gen the platform is starting to become more popular and after owning one for over a year I am here to tell you that they are such good cars. You get that old Honda feeling in a newer platform. They are so versatile and there is so many awesome mods that people are doing to them. I’m not here to tell you what to do by any means but, with how good the red civic came out I feel like you would have one of the cleanest fits on the internet, that goes with whatever car you get next though whatever it may be I’m excited to see what’s next.
Ive seen this car grow in popularity ever since I got it. In my local area that is. I dont think its the car, its just the lack of content on it. Kinda lowkey car. Make it popular with this content
Yeah man I really see what you’re talking about. Some cars just don’t pull views like others, you have a pretty large following so the way you get lots of views and statistics on videos of for making videos on things that have worked or just iconic cars that a vast part of the car community loves. It’s tough cuz sometimes I see TH-camrs del cars they really enjoy for cars that they like but don’t love due to the business part of things. I personally think you should go with your heart, money comes and goes, but making genuine memories for yourself is something important
@@ALLDAYANTHONY I agree man I still love seeing different builds me personally also love seeing popular builds but I don’t know man I’m not a vast majority of the audience
Sell it, or keep it. At the end of the day, its all up to what is going to benefit you the most. If it helps you with the gas prices atm, then use it for what it was made to do. Regardless of whether or not people like the crz, it's not for everyone and you aren't here to please everyone. You do what you love and thats modifying cars and showing your capabilities of being able to do the best you can with what you have. Most people want to see all of the old civics and jdm hype cars and that's cool and all but it's played out. I love your videos regardless of what it is focusing on because they're informative and inspirational. Much love man.
Idk if it's too late to leave a comment but I think you should sell because gas is high and you'll make a good chunk of change, it sucks to see it leave and your the guy I went to see about a cr-z cause I wasn't too sure about getting one. If you keep it I would love to watch the future videos because I was told that the coils were near impossible (or something like that) and I've never seen someone try and change them
I was gonna come and comment for you to keep it because I also own a CR-Z and I love mine! But I saw you uploaded a video 10 days ago about selling it already 😭
Gas prices are starting to creep down too so I think it’s a great time to sell. Personally I was never a fan of the CRZ content but you did an amazing job with it as usual. I think it comes down to your analytics, if it doesn’t get views, it has to go. Simple as that.
Hey, if you do decide to sell it you should do a video on like "how to prepare a car for sale" and like giving tips on how to attract customers and "raise" the value of the car by making the pictures look good and such
I put a comment talking about how it’s kind of a weird car to mod and you gave me a bit of a hostile response for obvious reasons but I’m glad you are considering new projects
Anthony I’ve watched you for along time and have rewatched your civic projects multiple times lol. I just got a 99 4 door automatic civic ex and it would make my TH-cam dream to see you actually get a 4 door 99-00 civic to give me ideas. The look is different than a coupe. Would love to see what you could come up with! Btw gas here in Alabama where I live finally hit $3.99 today so it should come down!!
It’s a cool project especially since it’s such an underrated Honda. But if profit is what your end goal is and seeing that it really doesn’t engage as many viewers I’d say sell it. If someone gives you an offer you can’t refuse then let it go. As for a next project which will attract as much traffic as the 6th gen civic? An 8th gen si sedan but that may have some heavy bias since that currently the car I drive. Good luck dude and I can’t wait to see what you do next
What if you remove the body kit, sell it and buy a manual version on which to do the other mods you have planned? Also maybe limit yourself to some lowering springs instead of coils
instead of complete coilovers, do just the Eibach springs, those lower the car by about 22mm and the ride is mostly unchanged, with maybe a little tighter S double corners behaviour. to make it enven more tight and silent, try the Spoon rigid collars, it's like aluminium rings around chassis bolds, the feeling is nice when you have a fucking city with a lot of fucking speed bumps, it's much better on those.
Maybe try to plan out a project car that could utilize the same wheels as the crz? This way you can buy wheels and then just keep them. Money saved + the build gets finished.
I'm a CRZ owner and this car is the reason I come to your channel. I will be so sad once you sell it :( Don't listen to all the CRZ haters, they havent seen the light like we have
I think it was good that you had a different car and gave it a chance, and opened people's eyes to the crz. It's a neat little car, but I think messing with the exhaust for an eco car would be useless, as well as wheels and coils that you wouldn't get your money out of. Even if you sell, I think that you would have videos to make (motorcycle vids as well) in the meantime. If you could really find an rsx type s worth buying, I think that your channel would gain a lot of views. Maybe even some ram content would be nice as well.
I honestly don't mind the CRZ, I think it's a cool companion for your other manual (minus the truck) vehicles when you just want a zip around commuter. I was looking forward to seeing wheels on it and was wondering if you still had the bronze wheels from the evo just to do a test fit of how it'd look since they're both 5x114.3 I'm cool with whatever you decide to do, not that you need anyone else's approval lol. My opinion is that it's your channel so whatever you want makes more sense than what people say. I sometimes prefer watching unique builds rather than the overdone, same car over and over and ove..... Wouldn't mind a day in the life with the evo though haha
The build is awesome but if you can cash out and make a profit to put towards something new then totally do that! I’d assume you can still cook up a few videos for it as is for detailing, maintenance, etc. so if you did that and then made money on it for a new build or the red civic that seems ideal
Bought a CR-Z in March, as a replacement for a Civic Hybrid that is having expen$ive hybrid problems. Initially disappointed that the Z's economy wasn't nearly as good as the Civic, and the performance isn't any better than my 85 and 91 CRXs. Once I accepted this fact, I started having more fun with it. New content for these cars is lacking. Now that I'm building mine, I find a lot of information online is out of date. I do understand your situation, should I sell the Civic while the market is hot, or keep it to have a 4 door beater that gets 53mpg. Also nice to have a spare car if the Z is having work done. I plan on mild mods to my Z: the same Bayson kit you have (bought a front spoiler used), coilovers (currently installing), 17" Sparco wheels (bought used saving for tires), Fit intake manifold ($50 at junkyard), Bored TB (eBay then bored by Maxbore), AEM intake and exhaust (unless I find something used). I hope you continue the project so I can continue my inspiration.
Mods almost never add value. If you are going to mod a car, you should do the mods asap so you get the most enjoyment out of them before you sell. Moding a car you plan to sell soon is a waste of money unless you are going to return the car to stock before you sell. The demand for EVs and hybrids is not going to go away, the percentage of new EVs is only going to go up. People want economic cars.
Tbh I didn’t like the build at first but you put the kit on and the Honda boy in me loved it some black T6Rs Enkei wheels would look sick but the viewers ain’t there and if u sell u make your money and save 2000+$ on a new build
As much as I'd like to see you complete the project, don't let it cut out all your profits. Get as much as you can out of it, and enjoy the next project.
Keep oil level at about 2mm below max or you loose power, for good level start the engine, stop it and then check immediately : those oils are very fluid.
Build it! It needs the suspension and wheels to really pull off the body kit. The enjoyment you will get out of finishing the project will make the cost worthwhile, even if you don't recover that when you sell it. Don't be a Dane. ;)
I really love watching the CRZ Videos but as you say right now it's the best time to sell it. Used car market is crazy right now plus the gas mileage is way too good on this car. Hope that if you sell it you continue with another Honda proyect, maybe even an 8th gen civic or something newer, haven't seen a lot of that lately on YT
With the prices going up why would you remove the hybrid from your fleet? I’ve seen maybe one video of the Ram, wouldn’t it be wiser to sell the truck instead?
As a manual CRZ owner, I would be sanded to see you sell it. However, having a CVT is less "inspiring". It's a pretty controversial car, mainly because it wasn't exactly what the Honda fanbase wanted as a CRX follow-up, and knowing most car gurus love manuals more I think it's better to sell it. It would be sad to see it go, but I think if your in doubt you should definitely do it.
As a CRZ('16 MT)owner that has done coils and wheels, if you plan to sell it I'd rather not put coils and wheels. The audience for this car is already pretty small, but putting coils and wheels is gonna make it smaller. But thank you for putting some light on our small little under-appreciated car.
When is the next time you'll work on something like this? Will the regret of not completing it eat you up? Money can be made up somewhere else but something like this doesn't always occur. Some of the questions I would ask myself
I love this build, was a reason I followed! But plz lmk if you plan to sell. My girlfriend has the same car, same color, and i want to take yours off your hands. Maybe for a supercharger build???? But regardless love the vid!
I think the civic was a great addition especially building a budget car and how you can make a simple yet hood looking car for cheap . I personally think selling it will be the best idea but I think more of the civic content / budget builds help .
Instead of doing coils you should just keep the the oem shocks and struts and do some eibach prokit springs and a more budget set of wheels than koning
The question should be: How long do you need to drive the car for, in order for it to cost less in gas than it would bring profit selling it? If you keep it for long enough, you might actually be cheaper off with the savings in gas. But it would take an extemely long time so I dont think its worth it for that reason alone
I think your should keep it if you want to finish it and mod it, but if you want to sell it to get the most value off of gas prices then I suggest selling it now while you havnt gone in too deep. Most people who’ll actually care for a hybrid or honda for reliability or gas mileage it’ll obviously be an older audience who most likely wont care for mods but just for the daily use. Putting in the least amount of money and taking the best opportunity to get the most bank for what you put in it so far then right now would be the best time to sell it. Besides if someone really wanted to mod a “hybrid” car it wouldnt be nearly as fun as a non hybrid and i think it’d be better for the consumers to mod it the way they invison it hybrids are not good cars to mod their hybrids for a reason. You’ll get the highest demand and highest profit now.
Buy a cheap used pair of wheels, and give it a good detail, then sell. I feel keeping it the same ride height and adding a pair of used wheels will help to finish the exterior well leaving a door open to a buyer who wants a car that isn't lowered. Also you could make a video on restoring/cleaning the wheels.
I think you should sell it now so that you arent too deep into it. I would love to see you pick up a prelude or del sol to build, but looking forward to whatever your next car is.
I’m just a few mods away from being too deep into it lol

I actually really like the CRZ and the build but if your intention was to sell it. Now is the time. It really is the best time now to sell IMO so thats what i think you should do. I really do love the build though showing an economy car being a cool car
go option 2
Keep it! Im very enjoy your CRZ project, add more mods and then eventually sell it!
got a wrecked one for $300.oo dollars.
I'd rock a crz and love that color. That's why I love my crx so much. Crz is just a updated crx.
I think you should keep it and keep modding it the car is 🔥 you already have it looking good
Keep it! Continue with wheels & suspension 🙏😁
Love your vids about the honda crz keep up with the good work
Ive seen this car grow in popularity ever since I got it.
I’m not all about the views, but it is a ton of work to film and edit things for a smaller audience interested in the car
On the oil box you push the spout into the circle, then push the flap back down to lock it in place, fyi.
Gas prices are starting to creep down too so I think it’s a great time to sell. Personally I was never a fan of the CRZ content but you did an amazing job with it as usual. I think it comes down to your analytics, if it doesn’t get views, it has to go. Simple as that.
Dude, it's kinda crazy watching you drive around and knowing where you are lol. I live in Meridian.
Hey, if you do decide to sell it you should do a video on like "how to prepare a car for sale" and like giving tips on how to attract customers and "raise" the value of the car by making the pictures look good and such
i would just sell it, i put a bunch of money into mine but realized its not gonna be as fun as I want it to be. Great content as always!
I put a comment talking about how it’s kind of a weird car to mod and you gave me a bit of a hostile response for obvious reasons but I’m glad you are considering new projects
I love the crz and would totally buy this one just the way it is
Anthony I’ve watched you for along time and have rewatched your civic projects multiple times lol.
Watching your videos is like playing a game in first person
What if you remove the body kit, sell it and buy a manual version on which to do the other mods you have planned? Also maybe limit yourself to some lowering springs instead of coils
that's not guilt that is OCD :) (we support you regardless)
My suggestion is if your still second guessing it, might as well keep it for now until your ready
instead of complete coilovers, do just the Eibach springs, those lower the car by about 22mm and the ride is mostly unchanged, with maybe a little tighter S double corners behaviour. to make it enven more tight and silent, try the Spoon rigid collars, it's like aluminium rings around chassis bolds, the feeling is nice when you have a fucking city with a lot of fucking speed bumps, it's much better on those.
Maybe try to plan out a project car that could utilize the same wheels as the crz? This way you can buy wheels and then just keep them. Money saved + the build gets finished.
I'm a CRZ owner and this car is the reason I come to your channel. I will be so sad once you sell it :( Don't listen to all the CRZ haters, they havent seen the light like we have
Haha I’ve seen the light and I love it! Just not sure if it’s long term
I say keep it and finish it. I remember you really wanting more time with the white civic and didn’t get too, so I say keep it so then no regrets!
Dude, at 6:06 into the video you drapped the gas cap wire over one of the brackets that actually holds the gas cap.
Talk to us! Where did you buy the ac compressor, how much and were there any issues with the install?
Would love to see it finished. Not much content out there for the CRZ
I honestly may just do a test fit just to see what it looks like lol
The build is awesome but if you can cash out and make a profit to put towards something new then totally do that! I’d assume you can still cook up a few videos for it as is for detailing, maintenance, etc. so if you did that and then made money on it for a new build or the red civic that seems ideal
Kind of a bummer, the CR-Z is what brung me to your channel. Hope that you will at least do the coilovers and rims/tires.
I need to think hard about that. But I do appreciate you subscribing no matter what!
That’s the thing, I don’t think I would have it long enough to enjoy the mods :/
@@ALLDAYANTHONY manual swap the CRZ and do all the other mods you want to do to it and then sell the red civic.
I have a crz and love it. If I knew how to drive a manual I would k20 swap it and all that fun stuff
Seen a lot of former crz owners regret selling theirs in the fb group. Regardless which transmission it has
Tbh I didn’t like the build at first but you put the kit on and the Honda boy in me loved it some black T6Rs Enkei wheels would look sick but the viewers ain’t there and if u sell u make your money and save 2000+$ on a new build
As much as I'd like to see you complete the project, don't let it cut out all your profits. Get as much as you can out of it, and enjoy the next project.
Would you by any chance know where I can buy the exterior door handles for driver and passenger side? Or know someone that makes them homemade?
Keep oil level at about 2mm below max or you loose power, for good level start the engine, stop it and then check immediately : those oils are very fluid.
You gotta do what you gotta do, I’m just thinking here, you also have two motorcycles. The hybrid saves more in gas than your other vessels
Keep it and enjoy it!!!
are you doing the project for cash or for the journey?
As a CRZ('16 MT)owner that has done coils and wheels, if you plan to sell it I'd rather not put coils and wheels. The audience for this car is already pretty small, but putting coils and wheels is gonna make it smaller. But thank you for putting some light on our small little under-appreciated car.
Although, this car that I have is a really fun car, and modifying made it even better. I love to take it to the mountains and just have fun.
Selling the crz will be sad but when one door closes another one opens. I wouldn’t mind watching an all day Anthony CRX video or an EF civic👍.
I think sell it for something else you would want keep it if you like it. Either way love when you upload. 💛
the carbon hood is really nice in my opinion personally I wouldn’t change it
Best to cash in while you can. As long as the money will eventually be put into something for the channel that's what I would do.
At the end of the day you'll see that it can be the car you never get rid of or the car you always think of selling.
