When that wood on the rotor starts to disintegrate it will be a nightmare to clean the movement. Also 17000$ for a watch brand with no heritage that plays on Breguet/Breitling name similarity is absurd.
The wood disk is incased in its own shell so if that would be the case it wouldn’t flake all over the movement and I’ll also add that it’s over 300 years old and it’s *still* intact so no flakes whatsoever!
I don't get it but then I'm not British. I can't imagine Lord Nelson would get it either. There's also something to be said of a manufacture that can make complications in a wearable case thickness. It can be done but it takes effort. For the price I'd expect more effort from Bremont. But then I'm not British.
Its definitely a used watch, Tim is a used watch dealer. He's referring to the strap, which looks worn to me but I suppose is neither crimped nor gouged... personally I'd pass on the watch and the strap.
@@Nefville He'll use that phrase for a watch that has had a new strap, not for old original straps. It's clearly marked on the underside with crimping apparent on the outside.
It’s Tra-fal-gar, there isn’t an A or an E after the L. You’re pronunciation did make me smile though 👍

Now that is a sweet piece. Well done.
NIce watch but $17k for a Bremont come on
offer $5K and they might say yes
$5k is still too much for a Bremont and I love their designs. I'd do $3500 for this one @@davidr2802
Find me a Chopard Cadence GMT
OVER SEVENTEEN MM!??
"No crimping, no gouging" That watch has clearly been worn...🤷♂
