  • We're making more progress on our off grid solar system as we prepare to build our solar rack for our solar panels. We start by finding true south for positioning our array. Then, we save big on materials by visiting our local scrap yard and find the perfect galvanized steel to use. Natalie also shares an ice chest repair hack and how to bake cookies without an oven or electricity.

    I saw the cat there when you called for cookies. My black lab NEVER gave up the chance for any food, much less cookies. He lived to 17.

    Natalie, I never knew! I backed that video up with joy lol. I have the Best cooler. For at least 15 years and the hinges have been broken for half of that! TY TY Made my day. Hello Darla The Survivor😺. I have made a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings in a motel room. Never seen cookies on a grill🫕. Is this the Learning Channel? 🥂Happy 14th to you Guy's!!

      The grill cookies were definitely an experiment of desperation. 😆 We were pretty excited that they turned out so good! Pretty impressive you can do a whole Thanksgiving feast in a motel room. Thanks for watching!

    Just a quick question. How many solar panels and batteries will you be using in your solar set up? Thank you.

    • @aboulderlifeoffgrid
      @aboulderlifeoffgrid  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We will start off with 30 300 watt panels and 5 100 amp hour batteries. When the house is built we will add more as needed. Great question. Have a good one!

    Hi Jake,
    Thanks for sharing how to find your true aouth amd very simple. I understood the solar noon is 12:27 pm and you put your first pipe at 10:27 am (2 hours early). On your 2nd pipe you said i put in the morning. What time you put your 2nd pipe? Thank you.😮. I guessed you put 2nd pipe at 2:29 pm (2hours after solar noon) but i might be wrong.
