Regarding the introduction here about the submarine , funny how you were quite accurate in your assumptions on what happened..now that around noon (US pacific time) the debris has been found on the seabed. Sad, but a mega high risk mission non the less.
Diversity huh? Well the fish have a diverse selection of food now because they found the wreckage sitting on the bottom of the ocean 1600 feet from the Titanic. They should have painted the submarine with rainbow colors. The Rainbow Submarine. I was going tie that into the Beatles tune "Yellow Submarine" and replace the word live with died but I don't want to be too harsh. But anyway, I watched a short special about that submarine and the guy was using an XBOX controller to steer the f'n thing. If you were dumb enough to hop into a silo that was steered with a game controller and go two miles down under water, well, I don't know what to tell you.

That's the thing that blows my mind about that Titan submarine incident. Two of the passengers were multi-billionaires -- people who supposedly make shrewd business decisions every waking moment of their lives. Given that, why weren't they shrewd enough to make sure that submarine was safe? Why were they and their passengers willing to part with a quarter million dollars each to send themselves to a watery grave where the pressure crushed them like a 18-wheeler running over a tin can? It makes no sense to me that otherwise supposedly sensible people can make such stupid and life-threatening decisions.
And if Johnny ever sells his guitars, I want that white guitar he used in the EZN video for "There Goes My Heart".

I had the exact same thought today about the "five". I told a friend that even though this is sad and too bad, etc., it is only five people and it pales in comparison to one single mass shooting that happens nearly daily. He also agreed. We've seen plenty about how irresponsible this entire endeavor was. It made me think of how often people are warned about a hurricane or tornado and stubbornly insist on staying instead of heading the warning. The pretty much ask for disaster at that point.
