Thanks alot was doing career mode set to 10% lower than last year. Just done qualifying and came top with toro rosso, looks like I can adjust it back up now.

I tend to run 6 6 downforce round most tracks and 5 5 for Monza and Canada or 10 10 for Monaco and Singapore and 100% on throttle and 50% off throttle and leave the suspension and camber and toe , I also run 54% brake bias and stock pressure idk if this was helpful to anyone but that’s my setup I find that I can’t really drive with max wings round Monaco and during the race the straight line speed is more important than most people think cause the straights are basically the only proper passing opportunities

Hey, I recently brought a Logitech G29 Wheel for my Pc, but I’ve been really struggling with driving and just learning it in general. Do you have any tips to learn faster how to drive on a wheel?
This is my second season with F1 gaming and I use the T300 which is similar to the G29. For me, its been a gradual process, learning the tracks (practice!), brake points and understanding how much speed the car can carry through corners. Enabling the Dynamic Racing line is very helpful in this regard. F1 2019 cars seem to decelerate quite a bit when turning into a corner, so if you over brake on entry, you can't carry as much momentum through the corner which is pure time lost. Try braking hard early, and gradually releasing the brakes (trail braking) while turning into the corner to try and find that point where you can fully release the brakes and let the car's natural deceleration do some of the work. After that, its just managing timing of hitting the gas to accelerate out of the corner. Left foot braking is a must. You'd be surprised to find that on a lot of corners, you don't need to brake hardly at all. I also increase the steering saturation in the game settings, but that's personal preference. The car turns in more for less wheel input.
Does it make Sense that i set the Front Wing higher than the rear? It Feels like the nose is more responsive while decreasing drag at the rear or is that just placebo??
Theres no problem with doing that, in the competitive scene however the front wing generates more drag than the rear wing so creating the responsiveness from the anti-roll bars rather than front wing will make you quicker in a straight line and using the rear wing for stability is usually faster which makes the setup have a higher rear wing than front wing usually.
If u r using the g29 then use the clutch pedal as the brake and brake pedal as the clutch ever since ive done that braking became so much easier and it became way easier release the clutch at the start..
Thanks for the tips was on no assists and could only get 1st on 100%. Now with the set up tips i finally came 1st on 110% was bending corners much faster 🙂
we need a video about the difrences of time trial setup vs race setup. everybody is just showing time trial setups and they are almost useless in the race :(

He drives pretty well what you see in his videos, but i am Spinning quite often. i already set the differential lower but i still struggle. barely are able to compete with Ai on 100 . i still struggle so much to improve and dont know what to do

I just need to choose tracks and practice on them over and over to get used to the physics of the game. Can you or ANYONE help me? if you go over to where it says solo you can find something that says time trial if you do that it is just you on the track and you can choose any car and any track. I did this and it helped me get better with the mechanics and figuring out the tracks

You're talking about probably one of the biggest growth eras of sim racing and you use a controller when you actually already own a wheel and you're 90 to 10 is so far off that you actually have the stats flip-flopped😂😂
Can you make a video about how not to overheat your tyres in f1 2019? Would be awesome^^ ... I simply cannot get a q lap on softs in hungary (especially front left - 108 degrees+! rears also over 100 degrees, but not "that" bad) without tyres overheating and me spinning out. same goes for 5 lap races there. I can drive long stints on mediums or hards, yet I never manage to get a lap done on softs. I haven't played that much yet, but in belgium and austria this problem does not occur, yet it does a bit in australia. I got the tyre pressure on minimum and also a not too high brake pressure. So yeah, not really sure what to do... Love your vids btw! Cheers
You really need to have the cockpit perspective when setting up lap-times. Drivers are not seated on the roof of the cars. I find I get faster lap-times using the roof cam perspective. Nice tips btw.
I can set the same lap time with the cockpit view, i’m not using cockpit because no one else is forced to. People who say you need to use cockpit and only use cockpit when its not forced etc... are selfish enough to put other drivers at risk in competition by not having as much spacial awareness as the rear mirrors aren’t fully optimised to use in the game. If it was forced or the driver manages not to make mistakes then fair enough but its not worth ruining other drivers races when everyone else is willing to give a higher level of spacial awareness

Big help dude i am not the best but always make the top 4 at race finish but this has helped so much gained at least a second or two on the lap times

Rev the car around 12500 rpm then put fuel mix on rich with ers on overtake
The saturation tip was a big help, although it was braking for me that needed to be adjusted
Have you tried cockpit view with appropriate fov?I found it a bit hard to get used to, but eventually faster! Specially reacting to the car...

i have the same thing but with my brake in the wheel so i had to increase breaking saturation

I had that problem too. But a new controller fixed that issue. Probably the rubber inside the controller is not 100% anymore after a few years.
