Sir how to find vertex of hyperpola.. When they didn't given eccentricity in fraction?
For eg given, d= 55mm ; e=1.5
how to find vertex for this question
1.5 is equal to 3/2, now you get a fraction value

The nearest point on a curve from the directrix is 36 mm and the eccentricity of a curve is 2/3.Draw the curve, name the curve and also draw the, tangent and normal on a curve 50 mm away from the directrix.
Sir in this question directrix la erundhu vertex distance dhanna sir 36 mm....e=(2/3)×36 use panni VF kandupidikanum ahh sir??
Ur right pa. Vertex is the nearest point. So first mark the vertex and then mark the focus point. Draw the ellipse from the directrix line use scale and mark the 50mm point on the curve and draw the tangent and normal line.
