I mean, aren't they all just normal guys? Yeah they're insanely good at climbing but I have a hunch they'd all seem like regular human beings with issues and weaknesses and stuff if you met them in person
Insanely strong, fully committed and with a ludicrous amount of stamina and pain tolerance. Pete is basically able to grit through just about anything.
Thanks for such a fun few days Emil! Really good to see you again and meet Cordi this time! I best keep working on my paddle slopey coordination jumps 😅
Pete flashing the "IMPOSSIBLE" boulder is incredible and shows how far he is from even a very good climber like Emil if you consider the specifics of crack climbing
Watching Pete climb always blows my mind, the precision with his strength is astonishing. Always appreciate the content Emil both silly and serious alike.
Pete is easily one of the most underrated climbers in the world. He is very accomplished (see his solo El Cap ascent) and one of the most well rounded climbers around. Love you Pete. I hope to see more and more climbing channels collaborate with you in the future.
9:02 "I don't think you can do it," That was your first mistake. You should've been setting something you don't think anyone can do if you want a chance at stumping Pete 😂
It's really cool seeing how the slopey problem required many attempts dialling in individual moves and the precise power and body positions to make the moves/hold the swings, whereas the crack problem took Pete only one attempt but needed sustained grunt and pure tryhard to stay up there. Both equally difficult problems - the differing styles requiring in differing approaches. Great video!
Yup, shows the specifics of each style and the different strengths. Pete's boulder requires lots of really precise powerful moves that need immense coordination, every single move is on the edge. Emil's boulder is all about insane grit and stamina to get into and hold really unstable and uncomfortable positions.
This is from one of my home gyms!!! Sad to have missed the boys, but the grades for the problem are 7a+ for emils crack climb and 8a for Petes problem. (Going of memory)
Pete is, dare i say it, the most competent climber out there today. He can smash 8a boulders in his sleep (almost) and the day after go fore som gnarly free solo in the peak district. Week after that he goes to do some questionable trad route no one has climbed in 25 years. And after all that he can still manage these stupid dynamic parkour style-climbing problems. It amazes me. I remember seeing him doing the FA of Dynamics of Change some odd years ago, that heel hook is not from this world. He has even gotten me to love crack climbing (Tom as well ofc). And what it seems like, he can also keep an happy relationship with Mari. Big ups to you Pete! And also to you Tom! And ofc you too Emil, we have climbed on the same problems both at k2 and on the boulders around Stockholm.
Pete is such a beast! I watch just about everything with Pete in it and that was one of the more visually impressive things I've seen him do! And Emil almost sending the one Pete set was awesome!
These videos actually inspire me to learn how to climb new styles myself. My only gym doesn't have any cracks and very few slopes, but if these videos don't get me in the gym nothing does
16:27 is one of the coolest static moves ever! I can't even imagine how many muscles need to be tensed and coordinated perfectly to make it work 😮 Also love the music in this part, it makes the whole climb feel even more out of this world somehow!
Pretty incredible you managed to set such a hard crack problem, where for pete the individual sections seemed to be about similarly matched in difficulty and the moves looked as enjoyable as crack climbing could be. I would have assumed unless you climb regularly in that style setting such a boulder would be nearly impossible
Emil, I got your chalk bucket just before Christmas last year, and yesterday i flashed a v6/7. It must be related! very good bucket, nice design! also good video!
best segue into a sponsor ever! also big thanks for your submax hangboarding vid, just recovering from my first pulley injury and hoping this'll keep the same from happening again!
These two are really strong climbers! I tried both these problems after they were set. I can usually struggle myself up a 7b and sometimes 7b+, but both of these routes were out of my reach. Petes felt ridiculous as it should, and Emils was really hard to get from start to first jam, I couldn't do it. Even establishing start felt really hard, as it requires pretty flexible hips. Id argue 7b+, though didnt work on every move so don't take my word for it. Really cool bouders anyhow!
And that crack gets 7A!? Someone strong gave it that grade... 😂 Always cool seeing Pete fighting, but he looked like he barely got started on the jam 😅 Cool boulders, would love to try the crack 😊
I think its really interesting how much you underestimated how good cupped hands could be. Because I am by no means a good crack climber and I thought that if its cupped hands Pete will be quite secure on them. I think if you wanted to make it really hard you would have to set something just on the higher edge of teacup-jams. Or wider than double fists. But really cool setting and really awesome climbing! Great video!
This video kind of explains why there's not that many crack problems available at most gyms. Setting them makes even the experienced route setters feel like beginners, and then the crack climbers just come and flash them 😂 They're a different species!
Video full of power! Just stunned how Pete flashed that ridiculously hard 'crack contraption' 👀. Wanna see Pete doing coordination stuff? Just watch him training parkour with Toby from Storror 😉 (->Wide Boyz channel).
I feel like everyone just forgets how insanely strong Pete is because he just seems like such a normal guy
I mean, aren't they all just normal guys? Yeah they're insanely good at climbing but I have a hunch they'd all seem like regular human beings with issues and weaknesses and stuff if you met them in person
ah yes, the will bosi effect
Insanely strong, fully committed and with a ludicrous amount of stamina and pain tolerance. Pete is basically able to grit through just about anything.
he presents really well for someone who's addicted to crack!
I think other climbers also underestimate how terrible their crack technique is!
Thanks for such a fun few days Emil! Really good to see you again and meet Cordi this time!
I best keep working on my paddle slopey coordination jumps 😅
Cheers mate, lovely seeing you again. Looking forward to future adventures!
What would you grade Emil's problem as (considering he thought it to be impossible).
Pete flashing the "IMPOSSIBLE" boulder is incredible and shows how far he is from even a very good climber like Emil if you consider the specifics of crack climbing
It was amazing
Watching Pete climb always blows my mind, the precision with his strength is astonishing.

do you know the Video with Pete and the Storror Crew? Its super funny.
16:24 I've never seen someone full crimp a hand jam. Wild stuff.
Legit up there with Charles' cutloose mono on L’Ombre du Voyageur cave roof as one of the wildest things I've ever seen in climbing.
That’s a fingerbar!
Love the reaction as Pete flashes the problem.
9:02 "I don't think you can do it,"
That was your first mistake. You should've been setting something you don't think anyone can do if you want a chance at stumping Pete 😂
Its been a while since I've clicked on a video this fast after upload. Love to see Pete back on the channel, dude is just built different.
He's been forged from pain and agony
Emil lowkey set one of the coolest crack boulders I’ve seen Pete climb😂
I’ve tried it, its a cruel crack boulder haha
It's really cool seeing how the slopey problem required many attempts dialling in individual moves and the precise power and body positions to make the moves/hold the swings, whereas the crack problem took Pete only one attempt but needed sustained grunt and pure tryhard to stay up there. The crack is graded v7 while the slopes are v11
Pete would definitely sandbag it to v7. Proper brit.
@12:39 Emil's face when he actually makes the move into the crack hahaha
Thanks for continuously making content Emil! You and a couple others inspired my climbing
Pete is unreal. Love watching his precise climbing. You two have such good vibes together!
This is from one of my home gyms!!!
Sad to have missed the boys, but the grades for the problem are 7a+ for emils crack climb and 8a for Petes problem. (Going of memory)
7a+ for that is insane
Emil your face when Pete did your boulder 😂😂😂 honestly though that's absolutely insane strength. Great work guys! Loved this video!
Pete is, dare i say it, the most competent climber out there today. He can smash 8a boulders in his sleep (almost) and the day after go fore som gnarly free solo in the peak district. Wow that crack boulder was sick, the knee bar swap is such a cool move!
Emil & Pete bringing the HEAVY Thursday vibes!!
Pete is such a beast! I watch just about everything with Pete in it and that was one of the more visually impressive things I've seen him do! And Emil almost sending the one Pete set was awesome!
17:26 absolute fire
These videos actually inspire me to learn how to climb new styles myself. My only gym doesn't have any cracks and very few slopes, but if these videos don't get me in the gym nothing does
I love any content with Pete. He's such a beast and always brings such a good vibe. Seeing him flash your problem was crazy.
So happy to see the return of this series! Me favorite type of videos on your channel
You and Pete are an absolute inspiration. Much love (:
Once you’ve been climbing long enough, you tend to recognize moves and read the problem. NONE of Pete’s move were recognizable to me. Dude’s an alien.
I'd love to see you make a boulder that *looks* easy, but is actually insanely difficult.
16:27 is one of the coolest static moves ever! I can't even imagine how many muscles need to be tensed and coordinated perfectly to make it work 😮 Also love the music in this part, it makes the whole climb feel even more out of this world somehow!

I love watching emil and Pete climb together. Fusion of different specialties always blends to a combination of chaos and psyche.
Emil and Pete in a video, you know it's gonna be a good one. And they delivered! Well done guys!
Everytime I see Emil I remember to do the no-hang workout which I certainly should have done yesterday as well.
Emil, I got your chalk bucket just before Christmas last year, and yesterday i flashed a v6/7. It must be related! very good bucket, nice design! also good video!
Thanks a ton mate, psyched you like it!
What the! This video was amazing!!
I really wish I could see Emil complete Pete's boulder in a future video!
emil accidentally set one of the most awesome crack problems ive seen lol
best segue into a sponsor ever! also big thanks for your submax hangboarding vid, just recovering from my first pulley injury and hoping this'll keep the same from happening again!
Absolute banger. Love seeing friends fight each other like this 😂
Cheers mate, next time you’ll have to set something for us as well
Would be very cool to see you try this with Magnus or with Louis Parkinson.
13:57 That laugh sounds exactly like Magnus!
Watching Pete blow people’s minds never gets old
The thumbnail is giving the shining
Heeeeere's EMIL
So excited to see you guys collaborate again! Clicked so fast on this. Great creativity, skills, strength and silliness.
That crack setting was so good. You set it perfect Emil. Magic climb Pete
Love the pacing and editing in this video Emil, keep up the good work!
Seeing the stuff pete is capable of is always impressive
Loved the music choices in this one!
Always, always a good time. Cannot wait for the next one.
7:39 The face of a mad scientist 😂
7:00 Emil realizes he left the oven on.
How does this have 0 replies and 0 likes i laughed for 1min straight
That flash was absolutely insane.
I think, that Pete has much more allround bouldering skills, than most boulderers have crack climbing skills.
Very nice video 👍👍👍
Pete är bäst, ingen protest!
Emil är också bäst, ingen protest! 💪💪💪
I see Pete, I like. You pick such awesome people for your collabs dude, and your combined vibes are great.
seeing pete finish the crack was amazing!
Fantastic.
Pete's a legend.
Great colab. Both boulders looked sick.
What would you grade these two problems?
Insane that Pete just flashed your impossible boulder. Hope to see more from you two. Loved it!
I love how pete is way more excited about emil sending his boulder than about himself sending emil's hahahaha
Crazy climbs - still amazed on that flash for the crack holds!
Thanks for this lovely nugget of climbing goodness.
pete just pulling off magic. WideBoyz are strong boyz
U R DA GOAT, I LOVE UR VIDS MY DUDE
Content has been back to back bangers as of late
the Mangus mask was too funny 😂
I was not expecting him to flash that crack boulder. That was mind blowing. 😆
De var jo på Kokstad sitt buldresenter i Bergen, der pleier jeg å klatre hver gang. Skikkelig kult å se!
And that crack gets 7A!?
Someone strong gave it that grade... 😂
Always cool seeing Pete fighting, but he looked like he barely got started on the jam 😅
Cool boulders, would love to try the crack 😊
Any video with Emil or Pete and Im smashing that like button
These videos are always a win :D
Amazing demonstration of specialization of top tier athletes
Watching Pete on Emil’s boulder left me absolutely speechless
Absolutely awesome boulders!
Loving Pete's medieval peasant haircut
Yess, another of the "different styles"-kinda videos :D
Emils socks are a vibe ngl
15:54 somebody has got to meme this. Also, I see Emil has been experimenting with the background music as of late 😅
Great video!
world class routesetting right there! :D
Nice vid, love Pete 🩷
awesome crack master route setting and climbing as per usual pete the goat :D
0:24 Emil fighting the urge to not include his Power of Now footage in every video
Pete är så sjukt stark alltså ! 🤯
That crack boulder problem is the cooles problem i`ve ever seen i think, so much movement going on
would be cool to know how you would grade the two boulders :)
Good old just climbing is always cool to watch (:
Its like a comedy movie with a little bit calmed down Jim Cerry
a crack bar seems like a good businessidea
This video kind of explains why there's not that many crack problems available at most gyms. Setting them makes even the experienced route setters feel like beginners, and then the crack climbers just come and flash them 😂 They're a different species!
Pete is a beast.
Pete makes EVERY crack look like a jug. This was insane.
Once again you're at my local gym, and I somehow miss it?! T_T Would be insanely fun to see this happen in real time!
Video full of power! Just stunned how Pete flashed that ridiculously hard 'crack contraption' 👀.
Wanna see Pete doing coordination stuff? Just watch him training parkour with Toby from Storror 😉 (->Wide Boyz channel).
Emil's socks are a vibe ngl
There seems to be a lot of speculation of Magnus and Bolivian marching powder.
was studying for my physics exam tomorrow but you had to upload now he!
There's some serious physics in play here too, so I'd say it still almost counts as studying 😆
Seriously impressive
I loved the Magnus cameo during the ad lol
i want to see you on The big island again
the cocaine joke was intentional before calling him the crack master, right?
