CORRECTION:
Recorded this weeks ago, and I’ve still been learning about tooth count stuff. Less teeth actually = less torque but higher top speed, and more teeth = more torque but less top speed🫡

Hmm, elaborate. Most board motor pullies are 15t. Let’s say you have a wheel pulley that’s 15t and one that’s 30t (I know these are unrealistic tooth counts but it’s just for the example). By the time the board motor rotates once fully, the smaller 15t pulley will have rotated 100% while a 30t would have only rotated 50%. Less teeth to cycle thru, would mean more rotations quicker?

The higher the gear ratio the higher the torque for the same size wheel. Torque and max wheel speed have an inverse relationship. If they didn’t then everyone would just run supper small pulleys

3D printing is awesome, but when I saw these designs on Thingiverse I know: not suitable. Thing is, they are printed layer by layer, and layers don't stick to each other like solid plastic. Those layers are weak spots. So those pins have a very small surface area where the layers touch: so those are mega quick to break. These should ALWAYS be injection molded, preferably carbon-fibre reinforced. Always always always. Or CNC from metal.

In my experience Momemtum as a company has very poor quality and poor customer service. Their 3D prints are the worst quality pulleys I’ve ever seen. And their belts are also very poor quality.
Haven’t had any customer service issues, but I can see the quality being an issue now haha
@@JackHasWifi after waiting close to a year for delivery of the wheels I complained the owner and he promptly and unsolicited canceled my order. I realize I’m not the only one who had to wait such a long time, but come on. If u can’t deal with customer complains then u shouldn’t be in business
